Chicken in Mustard-Cilantro and Vinegar marinade

Add a tangy twist to everyday chicken for an instant dose of wellness

  • Prep Time: 30 minutes plus 3 hours for marinating the chicken


INGREDIENTS

1/3 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1 tbsp dry sage
1 tbsp dry bay leaves
¼ cup crushed garlic
1 tsp salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 sachet MAGGI MAGIC SARAP 8g
¼ cup sugar
½ cup chopped cilantro
1 kilo chicken cut-ups
¼ cup NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream

PROCEDURE

  1. Mix mustard and vinegar well. Slowly add oil and white wine vinegar. Add sage, bay leaves, crushed garlic, salt, black pepper, MAGGI MAGIC SARAP, sugar and cilantro. Using a whisk, combine mixture until an emulsion is formed.

  2. Marinate chicken in the mixture for at least 3 hours. Grill for 10 minutes on each side while basting with the marinade. Remove from heat and keep in a cover container to keep warm.

  3. Transfer remaining mustard-cilantro marinade in a pan. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add NESTLÉ All Purpose Cream. Stir well. Serve as a dip for the chicken.
