The first day of each month brings with it a plethora of new movies on the world’s biggest streaming platforms. Netflix NFLX, Amazon Prime AMZN, HBO, Hulu—they cumulatively give us dozens upon dozens of new films to choose from each month.
But on that first day we also lose a bunch of movies. And in particular, Amazon Prime—which owns a bigger library of movies than any other streaming service—will be saying goodbye to a myriad of films come August 1.
Luckily, you still have some time to watch your favorites (or discover a new favorite). Here are ten great movies to watch before they expire from Amazon Prime at the end of July:
Michael Mann and Will Smith? Yeah, I’ll sign up for that. Mann’s unique aesthetic and thirst for drama makes for a great foundation for Smith to deliver one of the greatest performances ever. Ali is a striking, moving tribute to the greatest boxer of all time, Muhammad Ali.
Camilla Belle and Alexa PenaVega star in his forgotten comedic romance about two Beverly Hills sisters who are left penniless after their father dies. What the movie seemingly lacks in weight and drama is made up for with laughs and and wit. Plus, From Prada to Nada actually has a lot more heart than meets the eye.
