World without Electricity

Have you ever imagine the world without electricity? A simple question, can we live without electricity? Definitely No right? it is because electricity is one of the most important thing that humanity needs in order to live in this world. We all know how valuable electricity is, we are using it for machines, appliances, lighting system, transportation, economy, and other use of electricity. We are grateful that we already lived in the world that has already electricity but have you imagine what does it feels to live in past without electricity? Let me think of a scenario, in the past there is no electricity in which people are using another source of light which is fire. It is good to use fire since it gives heat and light but the problem is it is temporarily used. It is also hard to do work without electricity, for an instance, people in the past are using coal and woods for cooking and it consumes lots of time, unlike in this era which people just plug the outlet then wallah you can cook using electric stove or rice cooker. It is grateful to see how the world evolve and human brain becomes advance but did you know how electricity invented?

In the past, genius people are very curious about the most powerful source of energy on this planet which is Lightning. Out of curiosity inventors are trying to figure out the secret that lighting hides. On 17th hundreds there was an inventor named Benjamin Franklin who experimented the power of lighting. He made a kite then connect in an a wire. He wants to know if the lightning can travel into wire. After that experiment many inventors around the world also tried to experiment how lighting works. There are famous inventions displayed on museums nowadays showing how incredible inventors in the past to determine the flow of electricity.

During 18th hundreds there lots of inventors showed up and want to proved their theories about flow of current. Hundred years later there are lots of inventors proposed their experiment showing how a streak of blue lights created when there’s a metal added to experiment. During 19th century that’s the start of rise of technology in which inventors wants to capture the waves traveling in air also known as radio waves in which the world is using it right now on transmitting wireless messages. Also, the search for the truth has revealed when there’s a physicist discovered about atoms. Atoms contains nucleus, protons, electrons and photons and the question about why lighting and beautiful aurora happened is because of photons present in atoms. When lighting is combined in nitrogen and other gases in our atmosphere, it creates different colors of lightning.

In the video I watched, for me the inventor who has greatest contribution in history is Benjamin Franklin since all the idea on how the electricity flows is came from his experiment. There are other inventors who had great contribution to history of electricity like Oliver Lodge but unfortunately his experiment didn’t published since Heinrich Hertz has the same idea just like him and on second time his work also copied by Marconi which received novel price for it.

If there’s an innovation I will invent that will be a suit that can handle the absolute zero temperature, too much pressure at deep sea and hot temperatures. If I can invent that maybe in the future, it will protect humanity from disasters that can nature made or man-made. For now it is impossible since there’s no such materials here on earth that is created. Maybe if I have budget I can start to research and invent that. I will also try to invent a machine that can travel through parallel universe, have you heard about parallel universe? It is also known as 'alternate reality' the concept of this is there are infinite numbers of earth in infinite universe. If we put it into scenario, for an instance, this is Earth no. 1022 in which I lived and there are lots of earth in different dimensions. I am a normal student here, maybe in other dimension I am a young actor or maybe a rich guy or maybe a scientist already. I don't know what I am in other earth but in this concept of reality, you can imagine infinitely about what you will be on other dimension. I want to invent a machine that can bring me into other dimension so that I can meet my other self then start to know them and hang out with them. It is impossible right? since it will broke the law of space and time and there's a possibility that it will put everything into chaos once parallel universe is proven. We don't know what beyond our universe, it is very dark and mysterious. We don't have enough technology to dig deep in space and find out the truth. The only thing we can do right now is to imagine how beautiful our cosmos is.
