Its been 7 years since SDS was released in mangga and television, it was a long journey for Meliodas and other Deadly Sins finding each other. It was a journey that full of struggles and surprise. Fortunately, they surpass all those struggles and become the most powerful group in Kingdom of Liones. Their bonds get stronger, everytime there's a new enemy, Seven Deadly Sins is always there to fight and defend the people of Liones but despite of happiness they share together, there's a secret that Meliodas hide for a long time. Everyone shocked and cried when other member of Deadly Sins knew that Meliodas and Elizabeth was cursed by Supreme deity and Demon Lord. They are forbidden to love each other, Meliodas always meet Elizabeth but if Elizabeth will remember her memory from the past,her two eyes turns into Goddess Clan eyes. After 3 days, Elizabeth will die accidentally. It was a cursed that made Meliodas burst his darkness when Liz was killed by Demon.
On Season 5 of Seven Deadly Sins, the story became interesting, the secrets has been revealed and there are lots of scenarios that will give goosebumps. One of the best scenarios is when Deadly Sins, launch attack towards Camelot to save their Captain. Their goal is to free Meliodas from Dark Cocoon, it is a cocoon which Meliodas will evolve and become a demon king. In order to save Elizabeth from curse, the only solution that Meliodas made is to become a demon lord so that he can lift up the curse and make a balance for all races. It was a good idea but Meliodas emotions stealed by Demon King and currently at Purgatory, Merlin knew for a long time that Hawk eye's is a portal to Purgatory, Merlin gave a task to Ban to save Meliodas in Purgatory and help him get back to his body. When Ban entered in Purgatory, he became old but he will never died because he's immortal. While other Deadly Sins fights Zeldrick, Ban was in Purgatory searching for Meliodas and fight countless demons.
Meanwhile, in Camelot, Escanor, Merlin, Ludociel, King and Diane is fighting against Zeldrick but they have no match to zeldrick for the reason that Zeldrick possess the power of Demon King and he has ultimate skill which Omnious Nebula. Deadly Sins has hardship on defeating Zeldrick, the last Weapon that deadly sins can used is Escanor. Escanor is too powerful and equalize the power of Zeldrick, when Zeldrick is already loosing, the sky became dark and it weakened the power of Escanor since Escanor was relying on his grace, Sunshine. They are in Big trouble because Escanor is already weak, the commandments starts to move on their own and moving towards the cocoon. The situation becomes worst but Merlin released her ultimate technique, she can make time stopped inside the cocoon and she needs time to perform the ritual. Escanor, Diane, Harlequin, Ludociel tried to protect Merlin as much as they can but the enemy is too powerful. Another enemy appeared that made Deadly Sins struggle more. It was a first demon that was punished by Demon Lord. It was too powerful that Escanor was defeated and flew into air.
Escanor is loosing hope while he was downfalling, he reminisce all the happy things he had with Merlin and tears drop into his tears. Suddenly, there's someone catched him. When he looked at it, he was surprised to meet the original owner of his grace, One of the Four Archangel, Mael. Escanor became emotional and asked help to Mael and permitted Mael to borrow his grace. At first, Mael don't want it but Escanor motivates him. At the battlefield in Camelot, a bright light comes from the sky then struck at First Demon, Mael shows his true ability and everyone was shocked especially his brother Ludociel. They fight against First Demon and Zeldrick. In the end, they successfully stopped the time at cocoon but when Hawk flies towards the cocoon, he saw that there's a hole in cocoon. Everyone was terrified, Meliodas appeared at their front but he's no longer Meliodas anymore because the body was controlled by Demon Lord. They will face now the most powerful enemy, they stand no chance against demon lord, even Mael had struggles in fighting him.
