- Winter Precautions for Animals / Birds.

We are already in the winter season and animals can not handle the cold, so please take good care of them and definitely get them as warm as possible. Birds for example can stay inside the house in their cage with a bird-heater that heats the cage and keeps those little cute animals warm, this is safe and doesn't cause any danger to your pet bird or parrot. Another example is to build or buy a wooden house for chickens, hens and dogs to stay outside and not get cold. Winter makes us humans feel really cold and we are the ones staying inside the house and with heater turned on, wearing a lot of stuff to stay warm, so the animals definitely can't handle cold, depending on the animal that you have of course.

- Raining Precautions for Animals / Birds.

In rainy times we should Protect our animals and birds extra protection by checking if they having Shelters. keeping them in shelters will help them. keeping their foods in the shelter is important and water should be also filled to make them stay happy in there house. they need a good amount of food and water just in case you can not go again and again to feed them if it's raining as you might get sick and have some flue. Taking into consideration a roof top for the animals like hens, that protects them from the rain, and let the water not come inside their houses. This is one thing to be aware of.

- Helping Animals and Birds

Helping animals and birds is one of the best feelings in the world, and is peaceful to our lives. Giving them food and water on a daily basis and taking good care of them in bad weather conditions is good even if its not your own pet. You can help random cats, dogs, birds or any other animal by giving them food and water at the least. Tips of helping animals in the wild in good or bad weather conditions:

  • To the vet: Finding a dog or a cat or any animal in the street that seems to be needy for help, a good way is to take them to the nearest vet possible and the doctor can check them out. Make sure to give them food and water when you spot a needy animal on the street. If they are healthy, after eating, let them get back to live their lives, but if the situation doesn't go perfectly and they still look sick then just take them to the vet and say that you found the animal on the street. The vet might not take money from you.

  • Know what to feed them: Not all the animals eat the same thing, which is obvious, but some animals can not eat things that we as humans think about, and think that they can eat such thing, which can be harmful for them, for example giving a random stray cat onions or garlic that might be available in the sandwich piece you are giving away can harm the cat. Research is key when it comes to feeding and taking care of any animal, whether it's your own pet or not.

  • Keeping the area warm: If you can not afford to buy a shelter for your pet animal or a pigeon for example that you found on the street and wanted to keep as a pet, supposing you live in a really cold area, a great way is to heat up the room that they are staying in by opening the heater or simply covering them with triple sheets if that's the case. Covering the cage for any animal even cats is a good way to keep them warm in winter if a heater can not be turned on as well. Keeping their cage or house warm is key for their survival.

  • Research: Do some research about what certain animals eat and what is toxic to them, like chocolate for example, and what weather can they handle. Budgerigars or budgies for example that are native to Australia, are capable of surviving in an area inside the house which is not colder than 17-18 degree Celsius, considering there is no air getting inside the room from the windows that are closed, and hitting the cage directly, which will definitely make them cold and maybe even sick. Take good care of your pets.

- Animals are like human babies

Animals, despite being all cute and adorable, are definitely similar to a baby child, which requires great care and responsibility. Having a pet is your responsibility and taking good care of them is what a person is supposed to do. Just like a child that needs his mother or parents to eat at the least, animals are also in need for our help. Yes, animals can definitely eat alone and survive even since a really young age without their own parents, which is why they are animals in the first place and are created that way, but they can sometimes not survive in the wild alone in a really bad winter season, or when they are hungry and laying on the floor waiting for food to be given to them , or maybe they need water in the desert or in a really hot area. Sometimes, pet animals are actually in need for our help because they might be tamed and born like this way. Pets that are kept inside the house since they are born or from a really young age tend to be a little bit different from wild animals that are from the same species just like them, and it's our responsibility to give them food and water and take good care of them on a daily basis, because we love them just like our children or younger siblings, and are definitely family after all.

Letting them go: Despite being our lovely and adorable pets, sometimes life gets harder and we might not be able to provide food or water for our animals. In this case we can try our best to feed them, but if we somehow fail to do so, releasing them into the wild will be one of the three solutions for this problem, I know, I've stated that animals raised inside the house tend to be in need for their human friends to eat or drink, but they are animals after all and can definitely survive alone in the wild, with no exception. It might be a little harder than what they are used to at home, but sometimes you have to let them go if you can not feed them anymore so they can eat and drink alone from the wild, and if you ever do so, make sure to release them in a place where it is safe for them, not like a busy street full of cars for example. A good place to release them should be safe around them and maybe around people as well, so they can feed them and give them water too if they ever needed that. Another solution is to give them away to someone that you know and trust, they can be their pet and be given food and water if the trusted person can afford it, or simply giving them to the person for a short period so they can take care of them. Asking the trusted person for money to feed the animals you have is also a good idea if you do not want to let them go with another person for a while. The last solution is to ask money online with websites like "gofundme" and other websites available on the web, which should give you some money to use for your pets. Humans LOVE helping animals, well most of them at least.

Conclusion: Animals are adorable and we all should take great care of them, whether it's in winter or in summer, and giving them shelter and something to eat that is not toxic for their health with water on a daily basis is our responsibility. Helping wild animals is also a great thing to do that makes us happy and gives us good deeds as well, animals are innocent creatures after all and deserve all the love and care.

Thanks for reading, have a great day all.
