They say every river has its source,
A source from where it draws its water from,
It's elegant flow,
Magnificent beauty,
It's breathtaking sky blue view,
Leaves you entangled to watch it flow,
Some are fresh while others are salty,
Rivers consume lives,
Dangerous creatures live with in it,
It environs attract preys to predators,
Some drown in it,
Swimming they can't,
That's the way love works,
You drown deep in it,
Gurgling water till you tummy gets full,
Choking you it does,
Breathing you won't,
It sweeps you soulless body miles away,
Never to be found,
Remember drowning you were in tears,
Calling out for help,
Clutching at a straw you didn't,
Your tears adding a substantial amount of water in it,
Making it River of tears,
Every lover sheds tears at it banks,
Awaiting to be dragged along,
Those broken let's the water cleanse their broken hearts,
As they shed the last drop of their tears.
