We are all have been used to the norm that only the female genome has the capacity of being pregnant and giving birth.

Well, there exists a world where this fact is vice versa. Yes, a world of the living organisms.

Ever heard of a Seahorse?

In the world of seahorses, the male seahorse is the one that gets pregnant by the female after mating.

Is this weird? Well, it's a bit strange, but God had a reason to why and how.

How does this happen?

While dancing (snout-to-snout) rolling upwards on top of the water, the beautiful couple usually position themselves in a way that will enable the female seahorse penetrate her ovipositor into the sack of the male. That's how they copulate.

When the female seahorse produces the eggs shrinking down, the male receives them then pumps them up.

After this huge activity the female is tired. it goes to relax as the male is leaved to the task of ferterlizing using his semen.

When he's ready to give birth, his sack gets plumper. The body muscles twist to help him bend forward and backwards while giving birth.(Usually a long process)

for eight to ten minutes till the child is born.

That's an example of a male animal on earth that is able to convince and give birth to a young one. More research is ring done so that I can get you another interesting article like this.
