Wishing Fountain June 24, 2022 Have you tried to throw coins in a wishing fountain? Why do people drop coins in a wishing Fountain? These practices will originate in Southern California culture, hence the tradition of throwing coins and making a wish became a superstition. For me, I tried to throw coins in a fountain for we believe that our wish will be granted and that the spirits of the water will hear our wish and grant it. Various people say that throwing coins in a wishing fountain is one source of good luck, especially upon throwing it and the coins head up there's a big possibility that your wish will be granted. Way back then before I came here to the middle east for work first thing I did was were going to Simala Shrine located somewhere in Cebu it is a well-known religious place in the Philippines because we believe that we Catholics devotees offer prayers and petitions to the Virgin Mary with the hope that our prayers will be answered and inside Simala Shrine, we can find there a wishing fountain. What do they do with fountain coins According to Kuya Kim Atienza, one of his segments at 24 oras that all the coins gathered will go to charitable organizations, and public service and some give it to the neediest people so whether our wish comes true or not after tossing a coin into a fountain still we can be assured that is likely going to someone who needs it. Here are some of my wishes list To be successful To be happy To be contented with what I have Self-improvement Good health World Peace Freedom To be loved To be a better version of myself Inspire others Try new things Develop passive income Invest in farm Make a living doing what I love Make a positive impact Relax Be a good friend Tell interesting stories Enlightenment Success Stop saying yes to everything Does our wish will be granted by just tossing some penny on the wishing well Unfortunately no, because if it is meant for us those wishes and we do our part God will do his part too. If we want to make a wish come true it requires a positive mindset and we don't expect that whatever our wish will automatically God gives exactly what we want. Closing words Wish that whatever our dreams will come true and all things will turn out fine and happen in the best way possible, The future is bright and beautiful, If you can dream it you can do it let's allow happiness to come into our life. I still haven't tried it yet sis. However it was still great as the coins are still usable. And indeed you are right, our wish will only come true if we work our part as God will surely provide us what we wanted if we are also giving our best to achieve what we desire.
I haven't tried to throw coins in the wishing fountain ate. Wala kasi non dito. Whaahah. Pero if ever, I will wish for health, career, family and relationship.

Haven't tried to wish in a fountain sis but natry kong mag wish sa falling star,bata pa ako nun at yun ang narinig ko. Anyway, tama ka, we need to give our best and God will do the rest so our dreams will come true.

Ako ate before suki ako nang ganto everytime na pumupunta po kame sa Kamay ni Hesus tapos because bata pa po ako,laging toys wish ko hahaha.
Walang masama if we believe in those wishing well but of course our effort matters in achieving those dreams
