Physical and mental relaxation is one of our greatest needs in this modern age of speed, tension, noise, and restlessness. But relaxation is not something that is done to us from the outside, but an attitude of the mind reflected in the body. It is the non-resistance to the things that we have or dislike: an acceptance of the inevitable, a good mental disposition to leave the Universe Being as it is knowing that it is good, no matter how it seems.
Relaxation is a mental shrug of the shoulders, on those conditions or experiences that cannot be avoided, knowing that somehow it will only result well from them, since the universe in which we live is good. TENSION AND VIOLENCE are the enemies of health: they upset the easy harmonious action of the creative mind. Tension in the mind is usually the result of fear or resentment: fear of what may happen in the future, or resentment of what has happened in the past. Relieve your mental tension, forgiving anyone who has hurt you. Forgive every person, every condition, every situation that has caused you pain, anxiety or resentment. Abandon all past damage and forgive yourself for all past mistakes.
We often get tense, thinking about everything we have to do and how little time we have to do it. Do not forget that "the anxieties of tomorrow. Added to the frustrations of yesterday and carried along with the problems of today, they are too much for anyone."
We live only a moment in time and anyone can face the present moment. Try not to anticipate the anguish of the future, rather try to look forward with enthusiasm, hoping for the good, sincerely believing that each day will bring you the best of the best.
