Sometimes we feel pleasure by watching R-rated movie full of brutal scenes and abusive language. I call this a guilty pleasure. Watching horror thriller movies with brutal scenes needs a brave heart and gives you a guilty pleasure. So today I am going to make a list of top 5 disturbing horror movies for guilty pleasure. I will write every movie's IMDb rating and brief review so that you can easily decide what to watch this weekend. So here we go.

#5 The First Purge (2018)

What if you were allowed to kill anyone for a day. This movie has this unique concept. A day in America in which everyone is allowed to kill anyone without being in any Interrogation and punishment. Its IMDb score is 5.2/10.

Storyline:

This horror/action-adventure film from director Gerard McMurray serves as a prequel that recounts events that led up to the first Purge event. To push the crime rate below one percent for the rest of the year, the New Founding Fathers of America (NFFA) test a sociological theory that vents aggression for one night in one isolated community.

This movie is just for the fans who want to experience horror disturbing movie for the first time. If you are a regular mystery horror movie fan then this movie might disappoint you but if you like disturbing movie then it will probably best to watch.

#4 The Babysitter (2017)

Violence and blood movies sometimes gives guilty pleasure to its watcher. 2017's The Babysitter has brutal scenes and teenage adult scenes with some comedy. Its IMDb score is 6.3/10. Movie is available on Netflix.

Storyline

When Cole stays up past his bedtime, he discovers that his hot baby sitter belongs to a satanic cult that will stop at nothing to keep him quiet.

The hottest girl of the area is a babysitter which make you think dirty but there comes a twist which will change your perspective of watching this movie. First 20-30 minutes might seems boring but it worth the wait. Although there is no logic and questions but still it has some violent and disturbing scenes.

#3 The Ruins (2008)

2008's The Ruins was the first movie when I realized that brutal movies give me guilty pleasure. This is the perfect example of mystery horror movie. Its IMDb score is 5.9/20.

Storyline

A leisurely Mexican holiday takes a turn for the worse when a group of friends and a fellow tourist embark on a remote archaeological dig in the jungle, where something evil lives among the ruins.

The weird things happening in the movie and how it is happening is more interesting. 90% of the movie is filmed in a single location but still id doesn't bore you. There comes a most powerful scene which may haunt you for money days. It is worth watching. Sometimes your mind will say to shut the movie down but still you will have curiosity to watch till end. If you are 18+ then you are allowed to watch this.

#2 DEVIL (2010)

2010's Devil is perfect combination of horror, thriller and mystery. Devil is the shortest and low budget movie of the list. It is 1:20 hours long. Its IMDb score is 6.2/10.

Storyline

A group of people are trapped in an elevator and the Devil is mysteriously amongst them.

5 people trapped in a elevator with a devil inside. People starts dieng inside one by one and who is the devil from these 5 or any other paranormal being? I love the camera angle too. The ending message is very strong which makes me think to put this in #2. Its storyline, cinematography and acting of actors are amazing.

#1 A Cure For Wellness (2016)

A wellness center in which patients are cured weirdly. If you like the investigation movies where mystery solves slowly the you gonna like it. This is the darkest movie of the list. Only watch if you are above 18 having strong mind. Otherwise it can disturb you deeply. Its IMDb score is 6.4/10.

Storyline

An ambitious young executive is sent to retrieve his company's CEO from an idyllic but mysterious "wellness center" at a remote location in the Swiss Alps, but soon suspects that the spa's treatments are not what they seem.

The disturbing twist and turns will make you to watch it till the end. The cinematography is too awesome in this movie. But it is highly recommended that only watch these movies if you are 18+ and mentally prepared to watch disturbing scenes.
