After watching the movie Godzilla vs Kong I was curious to know more about Kong. So I searched his old movies and there came a movie called KING KONG (2005). Where the enormous infamous Ape falls in love with a beautiful lady called Ann Darow.

And if we talk about the cinematic history of Kong, a movie about Kong was made in 1933 in which Kong didn't fall in love with Ann. But in its remake KING KONG (2005) this happened. Not only KONG falls in love with Ann but Ann too. Amazing.! Here question arises that "What KONG has seen in Ann Darow to love with?"

"Why someone fall in love?" This question is not definable completely. There could be hundreds of reasons and meanings of that as love could be in between of Father and son, in friends, girlfriend and boyfriend, husband and wife, citizens and country, love with animals, love with materialistic things, love with money e.t.c. Hundreds type of love and every feeling is different from the other.

But in case of KONG we know that he loves Ann and Ann loves him. Let's talk about the both perspectives.

Ann Darow's Perspective

When Ann first met with Kong, she was afraid. So in that portion of movie it was not love but fear. With the time they know each other and Ann dance in front of Kong to entertain him just to be alive. She dance until she become long winded. It was an important scene of the movie.

Before further discussion lets talk about Kong. He is the last descendant of megaprimatus Kong specie. He is from gorilla caste. In the movie he is about 25 feet tall and 120-150 years old. Now as we know that he is a gorilla so we can understand him by knowing about the gorillas.

Gorillas are respectful. They don't use force on smaller species unless or until you challenge them. They are dominant too other than being respectful because they don't like someone to challenge them. So whenever you encounter a gorilla again just bow down and you will be safe. Because on an average a punch from gorilla can be of 900kg and they use both hands. Even their bite could be double dangerous than that of lion.

That's how much they dangerous can be. But not everyone. As everyone's nature is different depending upon where they up ring and their surroundings. This thing applies on gorillas and Kong too. But we should be afraid of KONG because his up ringing was in loneliness. He has been alone for years. There is no one who loves him. No one to take care of him. Living in an isolated island with no other of your specie can make everyone mad.

His personality is much different from other gorillas because he is living in an island where dinosaurs are still alive. Insects living there are of 100x larger in size of the normal ones. Even animal's surviver is difficult in that island. So the impact of skull island is much heavy on Kong. Living alone on that island for years having no one to love and play with. I am sure he faced sadness and depression too because no one was there for moral support. In simple words Kong is a Grown-up baby.

Why I am saying this? He is a Grown-up baby because when Ann refused to dance in front of him to entertain he gets angry and started throwing up things here and there like a baby.

KONG's Perspective

As I said that Kong is a Grown-up baby. He just want to be happy. Almost every other animal living on that island is trying to kill him. How he would be happy in that situation? So on entire island Ann is the only one who makes him happy. He never wanted to leave (lose) her. He can do anything just to protect her. Even he can die for her. And this is love in this movie. Actual beast falls in love with beauty.

He came to know that not every human is bad. Otherwise he could just squeeze Ann in their first meeting. He came to know that there is something special in Ann which he loves the most.

So overall KONG's love with Ann is like a dog's love with his owner. He could play, lick its owner, make him happy, even sometime give him moral support and could save him without caring for his own life. Around the world there are countless real stories in which animals saved their owners or just died for their owners.

When you get attached emotionally with someone then you don't want to lose that someone. And that's the love in that movie. Those were the precious moments for Kong to be with Ann. I can write an entire article on the death of KONG but leave it here.

Anyways, Yeah! many of you came here just by reading words 'Sexual Tension'. So let me tell you the relation of that word with movie. Actually sexual tension was not in the movie. Neither the creators of that movie showed this in movie nor they promoted like this. But this word is chosen by us, the audience while watching movie. I must say human specie is although a progressive but cheap too.

What do you think about KONG's love? Do you think in the same way or do you have any other logic? Let me know in the comments below. And if you like my article then

Thanks ☺️
