Harley Quinn Copied Deadpool. But how?

Now a days antihero and R-rated movies are leading in superhero genre. Recently I was watching "Birds Of Prey" movie for the 4th time. While watching the movie I realized that Harley Quinn and Deadpool have so much similarities. Yeah i wrote "copied" in the title but the first word that came in my mind while watching movie was that. Ok now we will talk about similarities which i noticed in movies. We will not consider their comics. So, let's get started.

• PERSONALITIES

Both have colourful personalities. Harley Quinn is so much obsessed with colours. From her clothing to her bullets, all are colourful. Similarly Deadpool's movies are too colourful. Every shot of movie represents a new colour panel.

Both are talkative too. Deadpool is famous for this. Even in hard situations they both don't forget to talk. Both breaks the 4th wall many times. Breaking the 4th wall means talking to audience directly through camera.

• SENSE OF HUMOR

Both have great sense of humor. Both cracks joke while fighting. Even when they are getting thumped. Deadpool has super healing factor but Harley Quinn is literally a drama queen. She watches her food like watching her child getting old.

Both of them use their sense of humor in most unusual and unimaginable places.

• BACKGROUND

Both of them faced torture in their childhood. As Harley says in her movie that her father left her in a catholic orphanage where she grew up in a very abusive environment.

Similarly deadpool in his movie said that his father left him before his birth. He faced physical torture in his childhood.

• LOVE

Deadpool and Harley have a very similar childhood and present too. Both are crazy in love. They know the meaning of love. They are emotionally attached to their love interest. They can do anything for their partners even they can die for them. Like when Joker said her to die she didn't think even for a second and jumped into a toxic tank.

Similarly in Deadpool 2, when Vanessa died, deadpool wanted to die. Even he tried multiple sucide attempts because it was the only way to meet her.

This shows how serious they are for their love. How crazy they are. They faced torture even after they met their love. For example in first movie of deadpool, Wade Wilson only went for experiments so that his disease can be cured. He faced torture many times just to live a healthy life with Vanessa.

Similarly Harley Quinn get tortured by Joker just for she can live with him.

• SOFT CORNER FOR THE KIDS

The next similarity between the Harley and Deadpool is that they both have soft corner for the kids. Deadpool in "deadpool 2" almost died while saving Russell. (Thanks to the cable who had a time machine.)

And in "Birds Of Prey" Harley Quinn killed many just to save Cassandra.

So this proves that they like kids. Even they can kill or get killed while saving kids.

• KILLING FOR MONEY

Both work for money. Wade Wilson even before being Deadpool worked for money. And sometimes he didn't even see if the person he is killing is good or bad.

Similarly Harley Quinn can do anything for money. So she started killing. And not just killing but she is now, hit (wo)man, bounty hunter, mercenary, finder of lost things, dog walker and even a life coach.

Even their profession is same. Lol

• POWER AND ABILITIES

Both don't have fancy powers. Deadpool has super healing factor then Harley has toxin's immunity which keeps them alive in their own field.

Both are experts at guns. Although Deadpool has many guns but he don't forget to carry his katanas with him.

Similarly Harley Quinn love guns too but don't forget to carry her baseball bat and hammer.

Because they know bullets can run out during the fight.

This comparison is enough to judge who copied whom. But i think this is not copy, but getting inspired. Just watch and enjoy.
