The best meal of the day is definitely BREAKFAST. Eating delicious and nutritious breakfast meal can make you survive the day. I will be sharing to you now what I had in my breakfast meal. Since we are short on budget due to work stoppage and in a process of jo work no pay policy. It is best to eat your meals nutritiously yet low budgeted. I will provide you some health benefits my meal can give to me.

Note: Information about its health benefits is based on internet research to thoroughly provide information for further understanding.

Benefits of rice

1. Rice is a quick energy source. Unless you’re a ketogenic diet follower, carbs are a good thing—the Dietary Guidelines for Americans say that the macronutrient should make up about 45 to 65 percent of your daily calories (and they suggest that at least half of that should be whole grains, like brown rice, says Kroplin). Carbs are your body’s main fuel source, and as rice is broken down into sugar and enters your bloodstream (like all carbs do), the glucose is shuttled to your cells to power up your activities.

2. Rice is generally safe for people with food sensitivities. “Rice is the least allergenic of all grains,” says Bannan, which makes it a good choice for people who have food sensitivities or allergies (or even just suspect they might). It’s naturally gluten free (although those with Celiac disease should read the label to make sure it was processed in a GF-friendly facility), and as of now, any rice you can buy is also GMO-free.

3.Brown rice is a good source of fiber. While the hull is stripped from white rice, brown rice is an excellent source of fiber, which helps to lower inflammation, improve gut health, and boost metabolism. In fact, this fiber content may be to thank (at least in part) for some of the health benefits of brown rice overall. “Research shows brown rice helps reduce the risk of chronic disease and certain cancers, and it plays a role in weight management,” says Bannan.

4. Rice is an excellent source of vitamins and minerals. Rice has more than 15 vitamins and minerals, says Bannan. “Some of the nourishing nutrients brown rice contains are key B vitamins, phosphorus, selenium, and magnesium, and just one cup of cooked brown rice can meet a large portion of daily manganese needs,” says Kroplin.

1. EGGS ARE NUTRIENT RICH

Let’s start with the fact that eggs are high in a range of vitamins and minerals. Just one boiled egg contains:

  • 40% of your daily vitamin D requirements

  • 25% of your daily folate requirements

  • 12% of your daily riboflavin (Vitamin B2) requirements

  • 20% of your daily selenium requirements

  • Eggs also contain vitamins A, E, B5, B12, as well as iron, iodine and phosphorus.

2. EGGS ARE HIGH IN QUALITY PROTEIN

Eggs provide us with very high-quality protein that contains all nine essential amino acids in the right amounts needed by the body for optimum growth and maintenance. Some other foods contain proportionately more protein than eggs but it’s the quality of the protein in eggs that really stands out.

3. EGGS RAISE LEVELS OF “GOOD” CHOLESTEROL

It's low-density lipoprotein (LDL), or "bad" cholesterol, that can put heart health at risk. Meals high in saturated fats and trans-fats such as deep-fried takeaway foods will increase levels of LDL cholesterol. To find out more about eggs and cholesterol click here.

4. EGGS ARE A GOOD SOURCE OF OMEGA-3

This makes eggs particularly useful for people who avoid or can’t eat fish. Omega-3 fats are good for many things, from heart and brain health to protecting our eyes.

5. EGGS ARE FILLING AND HELP WITH WEIGHT LOSS

Eggs are packed full of high-quality protein which makes them ideal as part of many different dietary patterns that can assist people to manage their weight.

The high satiety levels of eggs leads to greater feelings of satisfaction, less hunger and a lower desire to eat later in the day, meaning you’ll be less inclined to reach for that mid-afternoon snack.

6. EGGS ARE AMONG THE BEST DIETARY SOURCES OF CHOLINE

Choline is essential for normal cell functioning and is particularly important during pregnancy to support healthy brain development in the baby. To find out more about eggs and pregnancy click here.

Eggs are one of the best dietary sources of choline. For consumer-friendly information about choline in eggs click here.

7. EGGS CONTAIN ANTIOXIDANTS THAT ARE BENEFICIAL FOR THE EYES

Eggs are rich in the antioxidants lutein and zeaxanthin, both of which are believed to play a protective role in reducing the risk of eye diseases, including cataracts and macular degeneration. Studies show these antioxidants are better absorbed by the body from eggs than from plant sources.

8. EGGS HELP BOOST NUTRIENT INTAKE FOR HEALTHY AGING

Increased nutrient requirements and waning appetites can increase the risk of deficiencies in fibre, calcium, vitamins A, E, C, B6, B12, folate, iron, magnesium and zinc. Older people who primarily stay indoors are also at a higher risk of vitamin D deficiency from a lack of sun exposure.

Why eat it: Chorizo Palacios is a high-quality, internationally renowned product made without preservatives or colourings, it is also lactose and gluten free, giving it a unique quality and flavour.

As part of a healthy, balanced diet, eating chorizo provides health benefits such as:

Vitamin B-1, which helps the body use certain amino acids more efficiently and turn food into energy.

Vitamin B-12, a positive influence on nerve function, and aids the use of iron in our body.
