It's been weeks since I have seen the tortoises today both of them came out looking for food nice and sunny and in the 70s I guess that got them to come out and get some veggies and of course came up to me and begged me to give it some of my banana. Gopher tortoises live underground because they are cold blooded when we have cold temperatures like we’ve had in the last few weeks they don’t come out of their underground homes I presume they’re hibernating when it's cold.

They are on the endangered list people used to eat them and they’re real easy to catch so put on the protection from the federal laws
yes i hope all animals should be under some protection. dont know why some people. hunt and kill them
Well a lot of poor people thatlive out in the Country used to harvest them all the time back years ago and it really took a toll on their population because they don’t breed very fast so that’s why they were put on the endangered species list because they were just too easy to catch.
yes sad to say but i think in every countries have this problems. hunts and eat.
You can see that they felt the warm earth and went out, finding, from what we can see, a sunny day. I really like turtles
I always Collected turtles when I was younger.
