I was surprised to find out there was a rocket launch tonight but this was something different than I’ve seen before you could actually see the rocket separate from the booster and actually come back towards the ground slowly. A BIRD OF MANY NAMES Anyone for breakfast this osprey is enjoying a barracuda that it caught. These Beautiful birds are a normal thing to see around lakes and bays of Florida they’re also known by many names fish hawks,Sea hawks, River hawk even a fish eagle. I’ve always been fascinated by space. I have been a sci-fi Star Trek fan; anytime there is a movie about outer space, I watch to see if it's worth the watch. Looking back to September on my annual vacation to Alaska this year we went north to Fairbanks to camp out in the RV for a few nights and check out some of the museums and Of course we went on a river boat ride. What I liked about Fairbanks Alaska was the abundance of flowers all around town and here a few of the beauties I photographed. And Fairbanks was also known for its gold mining and copper mining

When I made it to work this after being off for the last three days, I was met by hungry cats and hungry sandhill cranes, and hungry wild turkeys. They all got their food. I was surprised that the sandhill cranes came close enough for them to feed from my hand last week. This one started coming up to me, and started eating from my hand this morning was no different. Happy #Caturday Here Miss LittleGray coming home for her evening dinner she stays most of her time hiding over away from the office because of all the vehicles that come in to drop off their garbage. She was traumatized when was a kitten so she don’t trust anyone. Then last week that dog really Scared her good thing is the guy showed up yesterday without a dog.

I would say the most exciting museums I had to have visited was The Indian Museum of North America, probably The Crazyhorse Monument of the Lakota people of South Dakota And the monument, when finished, Will be spectacular, so I like to share some of the photographs and a link to a video from my visit to the memorial and the museum. Day number four of damp cloudy, somewhat miserable weather I’d rather have it icy and cold and sunny than 40°F And wet. What is your thoughts would you rather have it icy and cold but blue skies and sunny or damp and wet and cloudy and kind of gloomy looking day after day. Last night as I was walking home after checking on my Mom before Settling in for the evening, I was a beautiful pink sunset. Unfortunately, it didn’t last long enough to get my eye in the sky to take a few photos. But Finally, after four days of rain was calling for us, blue skies and sunshine. Yeah!!!

Yes this what I been waiting for for last 4 day sunshine and cool weather. now the flowers and plants enjoyed the rain and I do to a certain extent but when you mix Cool temps with wet and work, it's not a fun place to be.

Went out to the frisbee golf course and it didn’t take long for this male cardinal was start attacking his image on my window and mirror then the car next to me is mirror and window. lol then the Lady cardinal showed up with her mouth full of food. #birdoftheday

Yesterday was such a beautiful day and as you can see in these photographs The glass bottom boats were out on the springs with the tourist hoping to see manatees In the beautiful waters of the springs. Theres a rich Historical history of Silver Springs once known for some of the photographs and movies that were made here in the 30s and 40s six Tarzan movies were made here on the Springs. Yesterday I was Hearing these beautiful Cardinals outside my window caught her sitting in the tree watching me. The male cardinal was up on the powerlines singing away. Today it's back work I know the cats will be happy to see me and the wild turkeys will be happy also oh yes in the sandhill cranes.

It's been weeks since I have seen the tortoises today both of them came out looking for food nice and sunny and in the 70s I guess that got them to come out and get some veggies and of course came up to me and begged me to give it some of my banana. Gopher tortoises live underground because they are cold blooded when we have cold temperatures like we’ve had in the last few weeks they don’t come out of their underground homes I presume they’re hibernating when it's cold.

This was a few summers ago at one of my favorite places to ride for wheelers if the fish are running to catch salmon If the conditions are right to make it all the way to the knik glacier which is a 26 mile ride but it can be almost impossible to make it there in the summer because of The Water level is too high, but in the fall, it drops enough to make it across the creeks. Here I’ve been worried about Miss Piggy all day have not seen her at all went over to where she usually hangs out called her without any success less than 10 minutes to leave to go home from work, and here she comes walking across the road to say goodbye before I went home for the evening, so it did turn out to be a Happy #Caturday

I had run to the local Walmart because when I came back to work on Friday I had the guy that works there on my day off use all the corn that I had left for the wild turkeys 🦃 so on this wet cool morning only 58°F which is not bad at all but of course I have to work out in the rain most of the day so it’s gonna be a wet But comfortable temps it’s gonna be a raincoat day that is my weather.

It's #TortoiseTuesday Good Morning after a few week of hibernating because of the cool weather Misty came out of her Den to forage for food. But finding frost on my carport this morning they are back in their dens fast asleep until we get some warm temperatures which for Friday they’re calling for 86°F for the high Summer weather already of courses the tortoises love it.

I am interested in fossils having a nice collection, not an extensive collection but a nice one. If I had more room, I’d probably have a more comprehensive collection and one thing that’s in my collection is coprolite is pretty cool that almost anything that’s been in the ground and had a lot of pressure on it can become mineralized stone does anybody know what coprolite is? As I was sitting at work talking to a customer I heard this hawk looked over to where the sound was coming from and it is sitting right on the very top of our flag pole and she stayed there long enough for me to go get my camera and snap a few photographs she’s a beautiful red shouldered hawk.

Crazy drivers, I see them almost every day an hour and a half ago, maybe two I heard Siren welling, which is not unnormal but what I didn’t realize was some crazy person I guaranteed was going way too fast coming through the RV park fence that borders the park and State Road 40. Flew up in the air and hit the park's sign, flew up over the road, and hit another car landed on top of it. Upside down, I was talking to a guy that lives right there in his camper that witnessed it…

Yesterday on my way home from my hike, I stopped to say hello to the horses. I would love to own a few of these beautiful creatures. Recently there was a horse farm that just went up for sale not too far from where I live to believe it had a horse stable with 18 stalls. The home had multiple bedrooms. I forget what it was, but they only wanted $10 million for it. Now all I have to do is win the giant lottery. Lol

On Thursday they did a controlled burn out here on the forest lands next to where I work. yesterday I walked over there a few times I put out some of the spots that were still burning all the smoke was coming right over to where I sit choking me today they’re not burning any longer in them places. I been working on planting a few gardens around my workplace hoping to bring in more butterflies and birds. so this morning I planted some giant sunflowers from seed of course and this other variety of sunflower wish me luck. Few days ago my brother was told by his boss he needs to get himself a bike that he can't pick him up. So he decided to get a electric bike they are not cheap either $2000 The place that sold them around this area was where they had classic cars for sale they had this 1957 Chevy Belair what a beautiful car she is but the Price tag was a crazy $187,000. boy I need to win that lottery. I don't know why I was just low on Energy yesterday when I made it to work I found out that the sandhill cranes has been into my wildflower garden and had pulled out half of my plants why oh why. so I went over looking in the scrap metal box where people bringing their scrap metal to throw away to see if I can find some kind of fencing over there and was lucky enough to find some wire fencing hoping that keeps them out Of the Garden.

Well I went out to my work site today being a close day it was nice and quiet out there I was trying to get some fencing put around some of the plants to keep the sandhill cranes from pulling them out. i’ll sit in there I have had these beautiful blue birds running around looking for food. Using milk crates and wire fencing they found that somebody threw away in the scrap metal box are the last couple photographs. And a Downy woodpecker

One place that I won't forget on my trip home from Alaska is this beautiful area of Montana at sunrise unfortunately what made it even more lovely was the smoke from all the Forest fires they were have in Montana that year. this was near Sealy Lake Montana. It’s a fun and fantastic adventure that we had last September. If anyone ever has the opportunity to do an ATV outing, they should do so. This was one of our destinations we made it to the Knik glacier in beautiful Alaska. From the parking lots at Jim’s Creek it a 26 mile ride through streams muddy well worn trails and of gorgeous scenery specially in September when the leaves are All changing color.
