This is looking up to the top of the lighthouse 219 steps to the very top interesting fact the one that was the lightkeeper took care of the light and keeping it burning had to carry 30 pounds of oil up to the very top of the 219 steps a few times a night to keep the light from going out to daylight.

This was in the late 1800s and if you had that kind of job that’s what you would be doing I was looking up history about the most highly paid find lighthouse keeper was a woman.
