Intro
LibertyOS is the first block-chain OS witch enhances security, privacy and increases system performance. Focusing on speed, privacy, as well as accessibility. despite the fact that its an operating system that you have to install its a fairly simple process.
1st attempt
So little disclaimer i have put liberty os on one of my personal computers before however it was a windows 7. Don't make my mistake and try using something with insufficient system resources witch ill outline next. the laptop was fine but it was like running xp on a i mac. nerd joke.
Minimum requirements
CPU: 1.6 GHz or higher
RAM:1 GB Physical RAM
Storage:16 GB internal hard drive space
Display: 640 x 480 res
internet
Using the bear min is not recommended unless your fairly adept at messing with system specs from the boot menu. I tried under the bear minimum for CPU and it was not fast enough. Solid state drives would probably fair better though. So inexperienced users please use the following.
Recommended System reqs

If using a GPU check to see that its supported i know that Nividia works well, Intel should probably be i915 or better not every one though. ATI is the least likely to work very few ATI GPU's work correctly. I just had to get a chrome book because my Radeon didn't support it.
No Malware or spyware!!!
LibertyOS is perfect for us in the crypto industry because their software is distributed via a package management system. This makes it impossible to distribute malware. This makes man in the middle attacks that could access your keys unlikely. Due to the fact that the internet access point ie wifi is the other reason it can still happen. however LibertyOS system design makes root kit viruses from malware impossible.
Privacy
Ad blocker literally the first add free operating system. Not only that no creepy tracking of users either like everyone else I've covered in previous security series entry the dangers that this spying posses to the consumer ill leave links below. Onion router comes stock.
The lib token
A BEP-2 compliant token on the Binance Blockchain LIB is really similar to the brave BAT in its function. Meaning you earn LIB either by choosing to see ads or if your a dev fans on LibertyOS can tip you in LIB. The LIB from my research is a P2P based system that is contained on users device. outside of LibertyOS network the LIB is not listed so the main use is their app store. This is open source or freeware app developers that accept the LIB token as tips or fee depending on the app. Though by this weakened ill be testing it thoroughly ill probably release a follow up soon.
Performance
Microsoft is not even a comparison every part of there OS is not made for the consumer. It slows the system due to inefficiency and even eventually will damage there own hardware do to poor design and greedy practices. If windows XP couldn't get every virus ever it is much better than windows 10. the system processes eaten up on bloat ware software they will not allow you to remove. Ill focus on them to much i've gone over in previous security series installments on how disturbingly unsecured they are........
Apple
Mac actually is getting a negative comment this time. They are pricey but also strictly controlled Microsoft sells there OS and allows installation where ever. Mac is the opposite you cant purchase a Mac os to install. All apple os mus be on their own devices this makes modifying equipment impossible. Also illegal to modify this is a violation of terms of service and can be prosecuted depending on case. So if apple wants to track you for ads or whatever you have little resources to prevent it. Final issue it price a windows or Chromebook can be less than half the price the system resources can be comparable in potential efficiency.
This is why LibertyOS is so important a free OS that's not linux or ubuntu . There are more but those two could be names from lord of the rings as far as many are concerned unless you do custom builds. LibertyOS is better than all the current operating systems except for apple. Systems most consider old slow or drive damaged are suffering from bad coding from the manufacturer.
In conclusion
This just barely scratched the surface on LibertyOS and ill post more details as i get more familiar with the system differences a before and after if you will. then ill give more detailed instruction features ect. I have only used a freind's setup once or twice and blew up a CPU in my windows 7 RIP.
Because im not sure how wide spread the knowledge of LibertyOS i felt i had to write about it to share the knowledge.
Now given the simplicity of the installment or dual booting maybe go give it a look see. Once you install it your basically a better programmer than all of Microsoft and google. I mean no disrespect to Bill Gates he had his company forced into allot of this by governing bodies. If no one sees me posting google has me they like the government regulations not just condone it. If you love what you do you will never work a day in your life.
