Over view
Many like myself greet coin app with heavy skepticism i find it helps me to know how they are profiting. So they sell your telemetry data in a process they call geo mining. Though many think its like sweat coin (Scam) it is not. I have cashed out for their ERC-20 i dont promote anything that will not pay you.
Im privacy first mindset make no mistake you are being tracked. however they don't seem to profit from data sales to advertisers. this is how swetcoin profits that and a fake buisness model but thats not the point. i think they allow for advertising in the app. This is less invasive than a typical targeted add.
Finlay i believe the value of the data is traveling more information for traffic and routes trip time ect. These typically require several sources of data to remain accurate.
Who should use it?
There is the tracking issue i mentioned however this doesn't apply if your just logging in quickly to advertise. Other than advertising for cheep they are good if like me you travel for work. Before the global health crisis the "long long ago" i was in construction this required some times 20 hours a week on the road. the work truck was fueled by the company so i didn't pay for gas. In no way will coin app pay for fuel but anyone in hybrids or a similar situation as me should look into it.
Conclusion
I have a odd habit of collecting alt coins because occasionally they spike. looking at it as a potential way to deversify your portfolio for something you already spend time. They have been making improvements to there services and some of them are interesting. though i would skip the subscriptions sentinels are offered for cost of shipping.
Sentinel services are why i suspect they don't work with targeted ads. Nothing concrete construction pun however they wouldn't need sentinels to verify the data if they worked with google or facebook. make no mistake if your location is on they track you. The fact if they need to verify it personally they wouldn't be working with dem- god google. Given their spooky omnipotence they would see clarification as pointless. At most they are selling the data to google maps for traffic info.
