Throw stones no more
Sometimes we don't understand the value of some proverbs we say until we see them happen, in this case, we can say that experience is the best teacher because saying it or hearing it alone won't make you understand it fully.
Something terrible is about to happen to Nigeria and Africa at large if something is not done urgently to avert it. The proverb that says those that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones is playing out right now in Nigeria
If you walk into the market place, don't throw stones. Nigeria government have been throwing stones inside the market place for many years now, suddenly the stones they have been throwing have come back to hit not just their family and friends but them also, everybody is about to get hit by the stones they threw in the market place
We all saw the series of karma that happened last year when the coronavirus was at its peak, a lot of politicians and government officials wished to travel abroad because they refused to build standard hospitals in Nigeria, some of them that used to travel abroad for routine check-up and treatment got stuck here and some of them died because they couldn't get the proper and standard medical attention and treatment that they needed. The minster that they created turned back and killed them
Late last year when Pfizer company announced that their vaccine was about 90% ready, the whole world applauded them including Nigeria and other African countries hoping that very soon they will start selling and distributing the vaccines to different countries. Before now, Bill Gates warned that Nigeria should be more concerned about preserving the vaccines than buying them, he was referring to the poor state of our hospitals in Nigeria
Guess what, when Bill Gates made that statement, rather than look for a way to prepare ahead of the vaccine distribution, the presidency in their usual manner lashed Bill Gates for saying that, they told him to mind his business and leave Nigeria alone. Now they have started listing countries that will receive the vaccine and Nigeria was not listed because they cannot preserve the drugs in Nigeria because of the poor state of hospitals and unsteady power supply. Isn't that interesting?
When the government neglected the welfare of the people and refused to fix our basic infrastructures they never knew that a day like this would come, they were busy flying abroad for every little thing leaving the poor masses to suffer the consequences of their neglect. Now they're also affected. Karma is indeed a bitch
we die here!
I just pray and hope they have learned their lessons from everything that happened during this coronavirus because they are also victims, even more, affected than ordinary people
They should learn now that those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones
