Terms and conditions apply

What if I decide to copy and paste uptrennd terms and conditions here, would you read to the end without stopping in the middle and then scroll to the bottom and click on "I agree"

Do you take time to read terms and conditions before clicking on "I agree", especially when it's online stuff? A lot of people are guilty of this, they don't like reading terms and conditions because they feel it's too long so they're lazy to read to the end; the same thing some people do here on uptrennd, they read only the title and move straight to the comment section. That's too bad a habit!

Terms and conditions are like an agreement between two parties, that's you and the other party, you have to give maximum attention, take your time to read the terms and conditions, and understand everything in it before you agree. These days we seem so comfortable with sites online, we trust them enough and blindly to agree with whatever they wrote without reading through

I won't be surprised if I paste some uptrend terms and conditions here and some people find it strange. They don't read terms and conditions because they feel it's not important.

Clicking on "I agree" under terms and conditions show that you've read and understood everything there and that you're okay with it. Clicking the agree button is your endorsement, your signature so if anything goes wrong along the line, you have no case because you endorsed whatever it was that was stated. Whether you read through is nobody's business because you are assumed to have read it before agreeing

So let's be careful to read things thoroughly before giving consent especially online, it doesn't take much time to read terms and conditions, even If it does, it's worth it! Take your time, take the pain to read through, and understand before you agree so you don't land yourself in something you wouldn't like just because of your neglect and laziness

The same thing applies to ingredients written on the pack of some items especially edibles. The reason why that information is written is for the consumer to read them, they're meant to inform you and not just there for fancy

I remember the day an entire family suffered stomach upset for close to three days and they didn't know the cause until one of the neighbors who came to visit them discovered that the family are expired oats

The expiry date was written on the pack but they didn't bother to check it so they ended up eating expired oats, the entire family! These things are important, let's not ignore them, who you're in the habit of ignoring information on the pack of things you buy, desist from it, read terms and conditions before agreeing to avoid unnecessary avoidable problems.
