Prayer is the lifting of the mind and heart to God. Simple!
One of the problems with our modern day Christianity and religion generally is the fact that we are "too busy" for God. We no longer have time to pray
People now see prayer as one big ritual that must be prepared and performed in a particular way, so if they feel they're not prepared enough for it, they put it off for another time. People now see God as one strange being that is very far away from us. This is a big problem!
People go about their normal businesses everyday having in mind that they'll make out time and pray, but before they know it the day is already over so they go home tired and find themselves not praying. This might start one day, then turn into weeks, months or even years leading to what we call spiritual lukewarmness or even spiritual death, a more chronic spiritual condition
If only we understood the meaning of Prayer, then we'll stop waiting for a perfect time to pray to God;
prayer is meant to do to the soul what food does to the body; we must eat good to nourish the body and stay alive

Do you starve yourself and go hungry just because you didn't find a perfect time to eat? No! Nobody does that!
If we don't wait for a perfect time to eat, why do we wait for a perfect time to pray? That's one odf the antics of the evil one
Let's define prayer again:
Prayer is the lifting up of the soul and heart to God.
What does the above definition of prayer have to do with "perfect timing or preparation? Absolutely nothing!
You don't ha e to kneel and clench your fists before you can pray to God, you don't have to be in church or inside your room to pray, you don't have to wait till it's 3 o'clock before you can pray; you must not prepare before you can talk to your father
You can lift your heart and mind to God at anytime irrespective of where you are and your disposition; stop waiting for a perfect time and place. Even where you are now you can lift your heart to God without your neighbour even knowing
You don't ha e to be vocal to pray!
Quit making excuses for your prayerlessness; if you can't make excuses for food don't make excuses for prayers. Form a habit of Prayer; pray everywhere and every time without season
Come to think of this: Jesus said we should pray without season, if there was a special time, place or posture to pray do you think he would have said such thing? It would have been practically impossible
Wake up from your spiritual slumber right now, even if you can say "Help me Lord" and mean it, it's a powerful prayer and God will answer. I wish you spiritual alertness and merry Christmas as you endeavour to awaken your spirit
Well done Chris
