Osondi Owendi is a phrase in Igbo, Nigeria popularized by the late high life legend, chief Osita Steven Osadebe which means that one man's pleasure is another man's sorrow; one man's food is another mans poison.
There are two ways and two similar meanings to that; some things happen to a man in life that makes them happy but some enemies seeing how happy the man is, get angry for the success of their enemy.
