I'm going to ask a very simple question which has been in the minds of many Nigerians and some other concerned people all over the world
Some people are scared to ask the question because many people that dared to ask similar question either found themselves behind bars or six feet below, some are too biased and sentimental to ask, a good number of Nigerians too have asked the question indirectly but no answer was given whatsoever
Now, I dare to ask this question
What is going on in Nigeria's aso rock?
What is wrong with Nigeria's president?
Some people have been alleging a lot of things against the presidency and the president of Nigeria since 2017 till date; for three years now the presidency or the president never deem it right to clear the air and address Nigerians for once since three years now; the only address we see is pre-recorded videos which usually take weeks or even months to record
Strange things have been going on in Nigeria's political space and the gross insecurity in the country, yet no reaction from the president and people pretend like everything is alright
Two weeks ago, the president was invited to address the national assembly over the insecurity in the country and possible way forward, the presidency promised to be there on Thursday, everyone heaved a sigh of relief that finally, Nigerians would get to see their president live after three years
Before the said date, the presidency cancelled it. Their reason being that "the national assembly has no such power over the president".
Nigerians were really shocked with the development, not me though, because I knew from day one that it wasn't going to happen
The latest news making the rounds now is the kidnap of 333 students from government science secondary school Kankara, Katsina state.
As fate had it on that day, nigeria president, general Muhammadu Buhari was said to be in Katsina at the time of the kidnap but he had to send a delegate all the way from Abuja to visit the scene and condone with the governor of the state; the same state where Buhari was reported to be that same friday
