I'm sure you're wondering what I mean by "chakam". You can search the dictionary for all I care you can never find that word "chakam" because it's not in the dictionary. Hahaha
Even if you find the word in the dictionary, it can never have the same meaning with the one I'm talking about here... hahahaha
Well, let me get you out of the mystery...
"Chakam" is simply a sound made by a camera when a picture is taken.. Now you know; the word is inspired by a song by a Nigerian music group P square, titled "nobody ugly"
In that song, they talked about people who take pictures and post on social media, especially on Instagram.
Most Instagram freaks live fake life on social media. Yes!
Some people go as far as paying huge amount of money to prophesional photographers to take pictures of them and edit, then they post on Instagram just to get more likes and followers
Some other freaks go to hotels and other beautiful sights to take "social media pictures". When you see such people in on social media you'll think they've made it in life, you'll think they don't have problems bothering them
Some innocent girls who don't know about these chakam people on social media will begin to feel inferior and blame themselves and everyone around them, not knowing that the people they idolize are living fake life on social media
If you see some of these people in real life your narrative about them will be different, some of them are not anywhere close to what they post on social media
Never judge yourself harshly because of what you see on social media, be the vast version of yourself. Be the best you can be and don't try to measure up because you're not in any competition with anybody
