A very wrong move

My people will say "if a witch cries at night and a child dies in the morning, it's certain that the witch killed the child", this is a very strong case that requires very strong evidence from the witch to clear herself

Another is saying that when you're called a rat, don't position yourself as a rat because if you do, pussy cat will carry you away. I'm saying all these with regards to the rumor making rounds, the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu gave the police 40 days ultimatum to dismantle all roadblocks in the southeast or face the wrath of the people

The Nigerian police force, no doubt is one of the biggest problems we have in Nigeria and they're a threat to life especially the youths, everybody knows how incompetent and unprofessional they have been in discharging their duties, the police is the worst experience you want to have as a Nigerian, we know all that. But is the way Nnamdi Kanu going about it the best way to go about it?

We also know that the government has failed us, we have cried and begged and even organized #endsars protest but the government rather sent the military to kill peaceful unarmed citizens rather than listen to them and reform the police. Nobody likes the police and their checkpoints, but is threatening them the right approach?

I don't know how serious or prepared they are about it, neither do I know what their plans are but it's sure not going to be funny. I'm afraid if things continue the way they are going we might soon witness something worse than the #endsars protest in Nigeria. The police are not our friends but removing them entirely is not going to do us good, attacking them will not make things better for us, we have to be very careful and think about consequences before taking some actions

Imagine police guns in the hands of hoodlums, that spells doom for the country if things continue this way no one Is safe. I feel disappointed when I see people clapping and praising the "unknown gunmen"  when they should be worried. Let's not allow our hatred for the police to blind our sense of reasoning. If anything goes wrong along the line, the poor masses will suffer mostly because we don't have arms to protect ourselves.

Condemn evil when you see evil, don't celebrate evil no matter who committed it or whom the evil is committed against because what goes around comes around.

This is the time that the federal government should implement the resolves in the national confab because it addresses most of the problems we have now including the police. Nigeria should be restructured now before things get out of hand
