A king is born

It's an age long tradition in my place that kings come from a particular lineage called dynasty. Every first male child born into that family automatically becomes king; in other words, they're born kings, king at birth

This tradition is also practiced many other places if not everywhere, it is this practice that inspired the common saying that "kings are not made, they are born"

Kingship is not a political office to campaign for, neither is it a contract to lobby for. Kingship is a serious, lifetime position that involves lives and welfare of a lot of people so whoever should be a king must have to start training from the womb.

A first son or a "crowned prince" as they are called before they become king will have to undergo series of trainings, teachings about kingship and the kingdom; these trainings start when they are very young and continue into their adulthood just before they're crowned king

So kingship is not something you wake up one morning and decide to be; alas! Some people are doing it today, it might not necessarily be in the area of "kingship" per say

There are some things in life that you can't just become just because you desire to, there are levels of success and achievements that you can not attain on your own, you need tutelage and assistance from someone already on that level, there are no two ways about it!

There are only two ways to be a king, either you're born a king or you serve a king. Serving a king means being loyal, nothing pleases a king more than a subject being loyal even when they can choose not to

If you want to attain certain level in life, you must swallow your pride and be loyal to "the king(s)", you can't be a subject and a king at the same time and two kings can never rule one kingdom, one must be loyal to the other for things to move

"You might be a king in your own kingdom, but when you visit another kingdom you must be loyal to the king to succeed in that foreign land"
