Last June 20 we celebrated Fathers day I want to share the life of my uncle that I considered as my father. He's the youngest brother of my mother. My uncle was a political strategist and analyst ever since in college he already mastered the art of politicking.
My uncle handled the political career of some politician from Mayor to Brgy Councilor without a loss that's why he is famous in that field in the place where he resides. And that's his source of income ever since when he got married.
But the problem arises because he will easily get a job when the politician he handled won the election. He entered various types of vices including gambling, drinking and even drugs and he has many mistresses and it resulted in him and his wife got separated
The biggest dilemma in his life was when he was hired by a notable drug personality because the father of that runs for the mayoralty seat and it wins as mayor but the problem was when President Duterte imposed a crackdown against illegal drugs. My uncle immediately resigned from his work in the mayor's office and fled away to another town but he was tagged as part of the syndicate and was captured by police.
After 3 months he got bailed and on Dec 8, 2018, he was shot by unknown, suspects that cause his immediate death. I cannot elaborate any more on the factors in the case of my uncle due to security reasons but only I can say he is a victim of EJK here in the Philippines. I miss his words of wisdom about politics he was my mentor about politicking and I know maybe in time there will be justice for his death.
