Simply me My life is fairly bland, but it belongs to me. I 'm not popular, but my friends are more than enough. I tend to be impulsive saying and doing what i want when i want. I can hide my emotions, better than anyone i know. I fight, dace and destroy standing up for what i believe in. I have no tolerance for the rude, or the racist and homophobic. I won’t admit my faults but, I do know i make mistakes. I am the sunrise after a sleepless night, blinding your eyes. If my life was a play list, It’s be filled with acoustic songs. It would be boring, but it would be me. Dear Romeo, im no Juliet; I'm simply me.

Love and words There awoke in me, on a night enlightened by magnificent starlight, Fancies for poetic pursuit in the name of love. And for this autumn-haired, Spring-eyed beauty of sweet unawareness. I became a romantic, for all intents and purposes. And bowed as a Knight to be his maiden in waiting. I was taken, I was subdued and held prisoner. I was willing. In her heart were the moist soild of Eden. Full of music not heard since the day Love was cast upon the world. I took her hand and splashed the grass with me melting, Saw angels under the gospel of her voice. I was no longer just a man, but a vessel of poetry. And I finally knew what it was to be alive. To inhale love, to exhale words, to truly breathe Like sonnet venturing from the page.
These things I have longed to be the quiet, fading light That helps you sleep And sunrise through the open door. I've stayed awake for hours Wondering how I could channel The most beautiful things Through your eyes And into your heart. I have wished to be The warm, child-long summer That stirs your playful curiosity And dreams across the long winter. For a time I doubted, I could be any of these things Or the myriad others That fill my head each day. But the stronger my life Bonds with yours The less I doubt my abilities The more revealed in my part. With love, all possibility follows It follows me, it follows you And all these things wished for Are already true.
Fresh Morning Talk to me in the comfort of fresh morning When a bird's song I may enjoy As the cold of night surrenders to the warmth of dawn And there comes no sound from the telephone or door. Hold me close as the sun plays with shadows When the curtains of our room blow wide As our hearts beat ever so quietly to the pulse of day And seagulls scavenge across the falling tide. Know me when the day is newly born, my love When the spirit within this aging body is content As I steal gentle kisses from your soft lips And inhale the subtle fragrance of this moment.
Family Time Don't you treasure your family time? It sorts of outs your heart to resr Devoted, loved and respected A close family is always the best Children are taught to respect The elderly folk related to them They hear stories, look at pictures of Family from which their lives stem And of course, we all have relatoves That we never got to know But we listen so intently to those Who enjoyed that person so Mom and dad with our babies Pictures that truly teasures To put inyo a book or on a CD Each memory is always a pleasure So gather up all of your memories For future generations to find Opening up windows to the past They can add their own family Time.
"Everyday's a new day of living you. With each day comes a new day of loving you. Everytime I kiss your lips my mind start to wander. If all my dreams come true, I'll be spending time with you. I love you more today than yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow. " -Just loving the vibe of the song Good morning 🌤️
A New Beginning How often we wish for another chance, To have a fresh beginning A chance to blot out our mistakes, and change failure into winning It does not take a new year to make a brand new starts It only takes the deep desire to try with all your heart. To live a little better, and to always be forgiving, to add a little sunshine to the world in which we are living. So, never give up in despair And think that you are through, For there's always a tomorrow and a chance to start anew.
Self-love He that cannot choose but love, And strives against it still, Never shall my fancy move, For he loves 'gains his will; nor he which is all his own, And can at pleasure choose, When I am caught he can be gone And when he list refuse. nor he that love none but fair, For such by all are sought; nor he that hath wit, For he will make me his jest or slace nor a fool, for when others He can neither Nor he that still mistress pays, For she is thalled therefore nor he that pays not, for he says Within She's worth no more. Is there then no kind of men Whom I may freely prove? I will vent that humour then In mine own self-love.
Today's hope Where in this world that oft divides Can true compassion show its face, I doubted that I'd ever see but I was wrong, I've see it's place. It's there on every nurse's brow In each and every Doctors' eyes. Joined by a common foe, Defeat is not a word they know. The world will wait with bated breath, Send love to fuel the tired army Their clapping hands provide the muster That each and every service worker Deserved to hear forever after, When the terror passes as it must Let compassion be the trail it leaves in you, in me, in the very dust that is all that's left of the many that sleep.
Life Sometimes I see it as a straight line Drawn with a pencil and a ruler Transecting the circle of the world Or as a finger piercing A smoke-ring, casual, inquisitive, But then the sun will come out Or the phone will ring and I will cease to wonder. If it is one thing, a large ball of air and memory, Or many things, a string of small farming towns, a dark road winding through them. Let us say it is a field I have been hoeing every day, Hoeing and singing, Then going to sleep in one of its furrows, Or now that Is is more than half over, A partially open door, rain dripping from the eaves. Like yours, it could be anything, A nest with one egg, a hallway that leads to a thousand rooms. Whatever happens to float into vies When I close my eyes It look out a window For more than a few minutes, So that some day I think It must be everything and nothing at once.
Nature's Music The rays of sun flared to a run With big tall trees outside The trees of love that reached above That God had glorified When God made trees to shade The trees of life that grew He placed some birds that sung the words What Jesus taught them to Placed by God in a Lily oof A singing frog or two In heaven's grace the frogs sang bass Before the day was through Duets are heard with frog and bird They sing in aim to please Twined together in great weather Atiund the shaded trees With our strog ear, listen and hear Nature's musical grade Artistic love that's heard above All things that God had made.
Cross It's not gold, Or silver you think. Not even a diamond, Or any precious stone it may. It's not a castle, Filled with dungeons and towers Not even a car, That could take you so far. It is a gift, Given long time ago Not worth that much of a fortune, Yet would stand till time is gone. He hanged on the cross, Just to pay the cost Just to give a gift, To me who is lost
Travel The railroad track is miles away, And today loud noises are speaking, Yet there isn't a train coming But lo! It's whistle is shrieking. All night there isn't a train passing by, The night is still for sleeping and dreaming But I see its cinders red on the sky, And its engine is steaming. My heart is warm with friends I make And better friends I'll soon be knowing, Yet there isn't a train I wouldn't take, No matter where it's going.
Quiet, Please Hummingbird at the honeysuckle vine. Ferns fluttering by the pond I visible writing of butterflies. No quack, moo, hiss, bark, howl or meow. Only silence from the tall giraffe Milkweed pods, their silky threads sprinkling the air A haystack in the field. The tractor wheels are still Mushrooms sprouting in the gentle rain Bare feet on the dewy grass at dawn. The velvet passage of a deer in the underbrush. A golden carp amid water lilies in a blue pool A canoe in the early morning most, The paddle dipping and disappearing in dripping circles The bark in a birch tree uncurling, Creamy magnolia leaf dropping to the ground. A bird taking a bath in the dust, Ruffling its feathers. Blue hydrangeas nodding their flower jeads By the summer porch. A starfish spreading its arms. Moonlight making a checkerboard on a brick wall The spider's Web. A weaver at the loom, unfolding woolen skeins. A silent Web of thoughts The first star in the evening sky. Snow.
Complicated Unexpected comments suddenly pop-up on my wall when I changed my Facebook status from "Single" to "It's complicated". Reading those comments feels like I have won a beauty pageant where everyone hurried to congratulate me without knowing that I was just wearing crown of confusion above my head. I can't help myself but to smile right in front of the monitor for several minutes. With my headset on, I began to read the messages sent by the man behind my status. The song "Here without you" by 3 Doors down is playing right through my head. New songs might have grabbed its popularity but it's the song that I always love to sing everytime I dream of that person. He was Alvin someone that I used to ignores at a choir practice. I was in fourth year of high school back then when he was a college freshman at a popular school in our city. I used to hate him and his cousins because they won't stop calling me an ugly duckling 'til I cry. They had love to see me crying. And there come our choir practice. The first few days or practice had been struggle but I was able to deal with them so I can achieve my dream to perform with the choir. Our final performance marked the last time I saw Alvin. We separated ways when I stepped to college. However, it might have been a destiny when he sent me a friend request after three years of not seeing each other. This time, I never tried to ignore his request along while I began to find myself reading the first ever message he sent. The guy who considered me a cry-baby brought me smile that day. It was then followed by long conversations as we tried to recall how the two of use known each other. It filled the years of absence. We just laughed as tried to remember our childhood memories. Eventually, I get so excited to open my Facebook account. Or maybe, I should say that I need to go online to check my inbox. We constantly exchanged messages. Whenever I log in my account, the first time I'll expect would be a thoughtful message from my Alvin. Everything went to be so fast that we found ourselves nurturing this online relationship. Reading his messages, it was always nice to hear the song that I secretly dedicated yo him as it goes like this... "But all the miles that separate, Disappear now when I'm dreaming of your face..." Knowing that he is a seaman, I know how much he struggles to fight the emotions he felt while working away from his loved ones. It's been three weeks that I noticed that I find it hard to look for a topic whenever we chat. Pop-out chats instantly come out when I feel like so stressed with my school workers. But as the days go by, it seems that I am the one who strives to reach out more than him. It leaves me just a short-rage of happiness everytime we communicate online. I don't know how far this online lovd affair would last. Though I admit I was happy, confusion still dominates on my own realization. I guess I have to accept that it's rare to find an honest and loyal man online. I'll still live the way "Single" people do by the time I wake up tomorrow. The song was right that he will just be on my lonely mind.
My closet It is big and tall Looking at it I feel so small With two doors I open it wide That dark and silent place is where I hide Filled with hanging clothes I get inside feeling like a boss I bend my knees to start my dreams Counting 1,2,3 and it now begins. When I'm inside I feel free Imagining things I wanted to be I close my eyes and own the world Playing with my imagination I feel happy and bold I open my eyes and I slant to smile Telling myself, I feel alive That secret place where I used to be My dear closet, that's where I want to be.
Window seat I let out a sigh yet again, As you pass by our room's window pane I guess I just can't stand a say That you haven't passed my way So I sit at the farthest end of the room And I wait for the time you'll pass along. Maybe that's why I really like this period And going to Drilon's everyday I will approve For I know I get a chance to see you This heart's longing I can't subdue Everyday, I look forward to seeing your face And the lonely sight of you is like Heaven's.
Note of the Fallen Giving myself a distance is not a sin, When I know exactly that, for you I mean nothing, What's between us was just a thing, Because even in your own world I am not existing. Don't act like an angel, you've fallen again, You're no superhero, I've found in the end. And for all the sweet lies you've spoken, ...was the worst lyrics I'd ever listened. Hear me out!, though I'm in silence. Can't speak it loud, It's so Confusing.!! There's no such thing us coincidence, But I know now,... that by the time I stop Waiting....
Mr. Pillow You are the one, That gives me fun, The one like starfish On a seashore sand You are the one That offers me time, Hugging you tightly While craving for someone. You are the one Catching all my tears, Even in pain You hear my screams. You are the one That comforts me, Embraces me smoothly When I'm lost totally. Thank you Mr. Pillow For being a good companion I know all of this will be over.
Numbers The two-week old break up is but a vacation Long-needed, with one just enjoying, forgetting... Yet, It's like a fault that runs deep inside her heart under the friendly arms of alcohol, She watches re-run of past drama episodes. The frenzied fights over forgotten special dates Is now playing in her mind. And another flash, A classical contest between his hours of hobby And their supposes time spent together shows At the movie marathon of memories. A call for celebration, her three friends view, Is the hostess for this party; she tries to clear Her mind now with cobwebs, chasing bottles of beer. One by one, the shots flow down her throat like brimstones, Each gulp is a wishing star to drown her heart. Ond last ghost had passed by, and she pauses and muses. She was his 6th girlfriend, he had said. And he was her 3rd conqueror already... But she truly wanted to be his last. Downing her last bottle, the ghost leave her now... Just for now.
My uncle's book Oh, how i often laugh, caught by my imagination, How a child could be tough in certain situations When I received the book in its story I was hooked. It tells about a fifth grader's experience, You'll laugh, you'll cry, he will move your patience Sometimes he can be a bully and sometimes as good as Mr. Bean's teddy. My uncle said, "how a great story it was" That he remembers something like this in the past, The book is so precious to me, and also important to him you see. So I was glad, one summer evening He gave it to me, to do something to read other's story and be wise from it And specially be good to others, that's a characteristic no one can outwit.
Elders Go out of your way to be good to older person. You'll discover that you can make somebody's entire day with a smile, phone call, some fresh-picked daisies, or whatever it is you've got. Our elders have so much to give to those who listen, but they are the ones who deserve to receive. Don't pass up the chance to brighten their lives. An old adage reminds us that they need only a little, but they need that little a lot.
Remember Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold. But other times it's essential to take time off And to make sure that your most important decision in the day Simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow 🌈.
Like Salt and Sugar During our existence in this world, We had our own hates and likes It may come to us any moment Either expected or unexpected That is how a person is molded As for myself, I do hate a lot Especially when I am being tricked For me, treachery and betrayal Is the most painful thing in the world But appreciation is the most I love It's kind of rewarding and inspiring. These things help a person grow strong Whether we hate it or love it It serves as a lesson and a guide. Just like a salt and sugar It ads spice to a better life.
How long? How long does one smile last? If you know what would be the last How long does one touch you can feel? When in the first place there was nothing to feel? How long does one stare can alter? When pain you can feel after? How long does one voice can make you rejoice? When all of a sudden you don't have any choice? How long does one tear could show? When even falling for it I didn't know? How long does one throb could stab? When the cause is love? How long does this wait could stay? When you give me reasons to Give up and stay away?
No string's attached You're always looking for a companion, But you always have a limitation. New flings, new friends, Can you handle the suspense? I know you, you know me, Still you're a man full of mystery. Wondering if you can feel my presence, Even if it's tiny, unsure or non-existent. As we kissed the days away, My existence is as rosy as May He woke my dead heart, And took misery apart The fact that we're just friends, I confess it matter not to me We're better be like this, Because we're closer without limits.
Mother's glue I wonder how she does it Holding it together, the way she does It seems no matter how life gets out of place. She put it back, the way it was. It has always been a mystery, But I guess it must be true That there is nothing stronger than a mother's love, When she uses mother's glue Now, mother's glue is not a recipe Or that sticky stuff used in art It's that special love that mother's give To keep your life from falling apart. It's that special bonding hug she gives you To help you make it through the day.
Always on the Go Let the faucet give the tune As I squeeze the sponge with soap, Give away to the plates to give their intro As I made my way into their surface, Ask the spoons and forks to take their turn As I tickle them from head to toe, Watch the glasses dance As I follow the rhythm, Take a glimpse on the bubbles They're like disco balls hanging on the wall, Washing the dishes, I'm always on the go Because it feels like I'm in a disco.
Outdoor Fun It's amazing what you can get up to in the Great Outdoors! After a lifetime investigating the hidden uses of sticks, pebbles, trees, buckets, sheets, and strings. So, I'll be writing some of the fun outdoor activities that you may enjoy doing. But to become an expert outdoorer you'll need to remember these 4 important rules. The older your clothes, the better for the Great outdoors. Review the list of things you need before you start and make sure you have everything. When you see a danger sign, don't continue or ask for help. And make sure to have fun. ***Waterball** You need a balloon and some water. Fix the balloon to a tap. Turn on the tap (slowly). Fill the balloon half full, take it off and tie it. You now have a waterball. Stand and throw it to each other, gettiny slightly further apart each throw. When it dropped, it might bounce, but sometimes it burst. ***Jumbo Picketsticks** You need 2 or more players and big pile of sticks. Scatter the sticks higgledy-piggledy into a big criss-crossed pile. Take turns trying to pull sticks out of the pile without moving any other stick. If you manage it, have another turn. The winner is the player with the most sticks at the end. ***Thunderstorm Distance** To measure the distance of a thunderstorm you need a steady count! When you see lightning flash, start counting, "I silly second, 2 silly seconds, 3 silly seconds" and so on at a slow even pace... Stop counting when you hear the thunder roll. The number of silly seconds you've counted is the number of miles away the storm is. (P. S. 1 mile = 1.6km)
