Parañaque, Philippines — Last Saturday, June 20, 2020, an underground or illegal hospital has been raid by the NBI (National Bureau of Investigation). The underground hospital has been found in Multinational Village, Parañaque. It is catering exclusively to Chinese National patients who were suspected to have coronavirus disease (COVID-19) working in POGO industry (Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators). This is the second time the NBI had raided the clinics in the same village.
By the order of the city mayor, Edwin Olivarez, the local authorities inspect the gates subdivision due to the resident's request who are convinced that many of these facilities or clinics still operating in their place.
Things like dextrose stands, medical chairs, stethoscopes, sphygmomanometers and 40 plastic bags of medical supplies, including personal protective equipments (PPEs) and face masks are confiscated during the raid.
