Ephesians 2:8–9
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”
📌 Message
It says that 'it is by grace you have been saved' na nagbasabut na kaning salvation na atung nadawat natu kay dili jud ta deserving ani but since God is gracious he saved us from sin. And another thing is 'through faith' which means atung salvation is through faith not by our works but through faith. Good works isn't the requirement to be saved but it's the trust and faith we put to God can save us.
📌 Promise
Deserving or not, God will save us if we have faith and trust in him. For God is good and gracious.

Beware of your confusing thoughts. You may think that good works is enough for us to be saved which is not
📌Command
Be reminded that God gifted us salvation through faith and not by good works because he doesn't want us to boast. This gift of God is something that we do not earn. It is something that God give us.
📌 Application
Good works isn't something that we need to acquire salvation yet salvation is given to us for us to be able to do good works.
