Joe was a young man who had tirelessly walked the offices of several companies, applying for a job.At every one of them,he was often turned down,on grounds that someone had already met their requirements.This man always returned crestfallen,but never gave up.
One day,he saw a vacancy posted by a certain company,and determined to get there on the date of the interview.On that particular day,he left home very early, having scarcely eaten his breakfast.He hoped to keep to time as usual.On his way,he stopped at the traffic light.But as the light showed green,he noticed that the car in front of him didn't bulge,and the other drivers who were behind him we're horning loudly in annoyance.He got out and walked to the car.There was an elderly man in the car,sitting confused.He asked the elderly man what was wrong.The elderly man explained that the car just refused to jerk back to life after her had stopped.Joe quickly got back to his car and pulled out his toolbox.He returned to the man's car and opened up the bonnet.He noticed there was a lose bolt,and a cut wire.He hurriedly fixed it and then the car came on when the man retried.The elderly man was then grateful.
Minutes later,he reached the place of interview.He was just almost late.When it got to his turn,he walked into the room.There was seated the CEO of the company, with his crew.Joe recognized him immediately as the elderly man he had just helped.When the man saw him,he was very happy,and began to talk about him to his crew.He asked Joe not to bother presenting his credentials,and gave him an instant recommendation.He was to begin work the next day.
Every little insignificant good we do matters a lot.Never relent to do good in anyway possible,and at anytime you are in capacity to do so.
