With the growing number of the poor in the Philippines, work is the main remedy for this. But there is no opportunity open for every poor Filipino so the only way is to emigrate. Migration is the call to move a person from one place to another to live there for a short time or for a long time. The Philippines has a high number of migrants, with an estimated 8.6 million Filipinos living in various countries in 2009 alone. Their numbers are certainly much higher now due to the ever-increasing demand abroad which attracts many Filipinos and also because of the hope of rising from poverty. But its tail is the risk, abuse, and sacrifice of migrants for the sake of the beloved family. If the number of migrants continues to swell, the country's labor force will continue to decline which will lead to its economic downturn. However, if you look at the other side of the situation, migration is not only a bad effect, not only is the violence experienced by every migrant, but many families are also getting out of poverty due to the size of their income as OFWs.
