The cheapest drink but the all time favorite of all children like me before, Ice scramble.

Yesterday at 2:00 pm in the afternoon. Me,my daughter,my little boy,my sister in-law and my mother in-law was on the balcony. The sun was so hot that time,so we were at the balcony to get some fresh air. Meanwhile my daughter hear something (cringe,cringe) ,she taught it was an ice cream vendor so she told me that she want to buy an ice cream. I'm just smirking at her and told her i'm just going down there and told him to go away. Then my mother in-law and sister in-law laugh,but my daughter wasn't happy and glaring at me with the long face.

But of course as a mother i can't bear to see my child sad. I was just really fooling her, so I would know what she would do or how she would react.While I was going to the seller of what we thought was ice cream, I saw the joy in my daughter face who you've been thought had never tasted ice cream in her whole life hahaha in fact we only bought ice cream the other day.When I approached the seller, I told the seller" sir! how much is the ice cream".Then the seller answered to me "ma'am this is not an ice cream,it an Ice scramble" hahha pahiya ng konti ang lola mo.

Then I shouted to my daughter , because she's in the balcony in our second floor so I need to shout. Zairah my daughter's name. This is not an ice cream,it is an ice scramble. I'm not waited for her answer,but I automatically buy for the ice scramble. Cause of the weather I need to drink some refreshing drink too. So I buy one big cup and five in the small cup. The price of it is 35pesos only than to buy for an ice cream in the tub or even in milk tea.

I was the only one who brought those six cups, our neighbor "asked me if I could carry them all" so I said yes!, "I used to be the dinning crew of jollibee, so I can do it" hahha, isn't that arrogant of me hahahaha peace ✌️

It's not about bragging, but it's really arrogant hahaha When you're a jollibee crew, you can carry everything,i don't seen a jollibe crew that can't carry five glasses when needed. We make sure that we carry out all the orders of our customers in time. Because some of them are so arrogant to handle,they think us that they buy us but they only buy food on jollibee not the workers. I had story about that incident,I should write it also when I finished this one.

Back on the topic...

Then after i buy it I'll go home faster , my daughter was happy to see me. Just like she haven't seen me for a long time hahha just kidding. She took a big cup immediately but it was really for her to satisfy her.

What is Ice Scramble

• Iskrambol, also known as ice scramble, is a Filipino frozen dessert made from shaved ice with banana extract and evaporated milk with sugar, topped with a variety of ingredients including powdered milk, marshmallows, strawberry syrup, chocolate syrup, pinipig, tapioca pearls, and sprinkles, among others.

When I was in elementary school my all time favorite was Ice Scramble, because of the taste and the toppings on it. And also it is a cheaper than milk tea hehehe Ice Scramble is one of the best fresh drink when summer time. What about you? And what toppings you'll be like on your ice scramble?

My youngest son also liked it, it can be seen in the picture below that he really liked the ice scramble. Whereas when I bought ice cream the other day he didn't even dare to looked on it. hahha pangmasa ata yung panglasa ng bunso ko.

I never thought he's been like that, because everytime I'll buy ice cream he always said " yucks,I don't like it" hahaha It seems that my son doesn't want expensive things or even food.

We Filipinos are really creative with things, whether it's things or food. If we used to eat halo halo, ice cream, mais conyelo when summer ,now we had ice scramble. It is even easier to make because of its ingredients. If ice scramble before was just pink, now it has a variant flavor. There are ube, mango and so on. And before if it seen only outside the school or even in street now you can also see it in malls. But the best thing I remember about ice scramble back then was the manual crushing of the ice until it became small like snow, then put a pink coloring and mix it using the manual pedal of the mixer too.
