The voice is fierce. Piercing from the beginning to the end. The words stabs my very soul, ripping the last life I possess. Though the hum had already been gone the echo remains scattered all over Hence, I'm still looking at the bright moon shining like a blazing sun of daytime.
The path to the moon lies in tranquility yet in every step there is a shower of flaming meteors, a collision of stars and a black hole that appears and disappears unexpectedly that tormented the silenced angel inside of me. The moon glows on its place endlessly like an endless universe. Illuminating every creation on the terrain and singing upon castling souls to come further.
I stood at a plateau above the waters that I'm walking through. As I gaze down through it and find frolic lives swarmed every corner. It makes me smile eyeing a beauty or two but my beloved moon hauls the eyes that I own reminding there's no other beauty ever created.
Tears crossed my cheeks. Hidden emotions and unspoken proses filled my head wanting to break free from the cage where it was confined. The silenced angel held it captive without chances of setting free. Soon enough I grew tired of staring at the Queen and I sit down looking at the waters, throwing glances at her like I was being told to do so. In melancholic solitude you can hear the roaring outcry of the silenced angel.
A beauty rise from the water which startles me yet I was astonished by the mesmerizing eyes staring back at me. those stunning orbs take may breath away. It leaves a clam and went back to the water. I reached for that clam and it automatically opens up revealing a pearl radiating like the moon above me. I looked up to the Queen and return my sight to the pearl that glows before I lift the latter and raise it next to my Queen both were glimmering in brightness, both were round, both were pure white and the only difference is their size.
I walk close to the edge so close that I could join the world underneath me. Then I felt a complete bitterness seeing how free those mirthful creatures in the world that I can't even lay a foot on. I glance at the chain on my right leg and touch it only to find my finger permeated on the cold steel. I stepped back with my resentments and went back to the same spot I always retire for centuries of my life.
When I wake up from a sleep there is another pearl clam that awaits for me. I look around searching for the majestic being but I'm all alone with my Queen. staring at the pair of pearls thinking What am I going to do with it and Why I was being given with such valuable treasure. Puzzled I look again on my Queen and sigh why isn't she's talking when she could see what was going on around? To comfort me atleast but no, my Queen remains silent.
For the third time I receive a pearl. Still wondering why it pulls me to stand at the edge and stare at the waters. For the first time in my life I use my voice.
"Why?" I utter. "I'm not worth with these pearls."
Suddenly the beautiful being I met ascends from the clear water making me move backwards, two steps for him to stand in front of me. We were staring in each others eyes which makes the silenced angel went on lose. though she was caged, she seemed trying to escape at that moment for the reason that I didn't even percieved. He took a step closer towering over me allowing me to see the difference between our height. His orbs move and I hear the sound of my chain when I glance behind me I saw how the chain unlock on its own freeing my leg. For centuries I am a prison in that plateau spending my whole life in loneliness, resentment and sadness. Can't even utter a word, can't even sing a hum, cant even make a move to end my silent sufferings. I am alone with my Queen, the only thing I have that I cannot even touch. I look back at him and notice he's offering a hand as if asking me to take it or maybe he was actually saying it using a gesture. I look at my Queen full of hesitation as if asking what to do until I felt a touch in my own hands forcing me to look at him again. He held my hand like the princess's before looking up at the Queen above us.
Gently we faced the water before descending through it leaving the cold and lonely place where I live. I turn my head to my Queen and saw it shines the brightest. I am stepping to the world I always watch on that plateau. It is no longer a dream or even a scene in my eyes. It makes me feel nervous and uneasy realizing the being next to me. I didn't know what to call him or his name if he had.
Soon we stopped at the very bottom where things were more beautiful than already it was. There was flying very little beings with their tiny wings that scatters glimmering dust and they fly happily everywhere. flowers from tiniest up to the gigantic ones grow on the ground, silvery vines lay across the pathway and serves as the torch lighting up the darkness of the floor. He gently pull me to walk and so I walk beside him glancing upon the things that catches my eyes like the being with long hair on the head so long that it touches the floor and a pair of wings with eight legs who crawls across the way.
We enter a dark cave but it became as bright as the sun when we took the third step. There, I saw a beautiful lady with a tail of whale floating in the mid air. She approaches and revolves around us greeting us enthusiastically then she left going somewhere. There's another opening ahead and I look at him wanting to ask but the place throw my thoughts away as I saw many beings just like him.
I let my eyes roam and stare in awe, all of them looks like god and goddesses. they were wearing white clothing that traces their curves and emphasizing their well-formed body. Their hair were sparkly white yet they are not old, their eyes were silvery with big Crystal embedded in their forehead.
"Greetings! Lord Zale." the crowd chorused.
"Greetings! This is Lady Mayar let's welcome her." He replied
And the party began. There were music, dances, songs and beings that socialize with each other. I was sitting next to this "Lord Zale" but he's not even looking at me neither talking. A loud noise stops them and in short while their legs transform in whale's tails and afloats in mid air. They became the most beautiful creature in the world with those half marine mammal and half goddess appearance. In batches all of them take a bow before leaving immediately like they're were hunted by something. I watched as the last batch hurriedly left making I and Lord Zale sit in silence.
"My apologies for not making any formal words M'lady." he said looking at me.
"I am Zale the King of Proteus, the Kingdom you always watched up there and right now we are here in my castle." He added.
"Then you have that tail with you?" I asked unconsciously.
He chuckled lightly before nodding and in my very eyes his legs changes into a golden whale's tail. I was stunned at the very beauty of this creature he has those mesmerizing eyes with thousands of words to say, a soft lips curled with a small smile, a perfect nose to fit his perfect feature, a short cut, raven hair, a god like body with tall stature and a matching complexion.
"But for my guess I should be more formal." he says transforming his tail into legs.
"Can I ask why you brought me here Your Majesty?" I asked straightly.
"Its because I don't like to see you resent more than you already done."
It makes me fell into silence. has he observed me that long? since When ? and mostly Why? Why does he said that? Does this young King knew my life from the beginning? How come he knew my name? and Why did he care whenever I resent? I was drowned in my own thoughts that I didn't notice his gaze upon me. I wonder What he was thinking for the moment.
"Lady Mayar let's have a walk please." he utter.
Before I could say anything he gently pull me to stand and we walk into somewhere I dont know. But based on my instincts I couldn't feel any harm from him and with that the silenced angel knocks loudly in her cage disturbing me completely.
"What's wrong?" he asked worriedly seeing my uneasiness.
"N-nothing M'lord." I Stammered as I held my chest.
By the following seconds I felt burning and experience difficulties in breathing and King Zale did something I didn't expect. He hugged me. A complete surprise, its like centuries of freedom from that chains, a feeling I can't give a name. It may be a simple thing but his body warmth calms me down. as he let go our eyes met and there again his beautiful eyes wanting to say something or rather many things.
We walked deeper into the cave and there were marvelous marbles everywhere, sparkling crystals embedded in the wall. different kinds of stone carved into statues as decoration and many glowing treasures. In an opening there was four creatures that has a resemblance of a rock standing along the huge opening. they have four eyes lined from left to right, two visible fangs and very long sharp horns in the head. their bodies had spiky torns down to their feet. they move to the side to give us a way to enter and they return back to their position when we passed.
"What can you say about the world you were currently marching in M'lady?"
"Your Kingdom has the beautiful sceneries I saw or maybe because I was chained on that plateau for centuries and there's nothing for me to see except the world underneath my location and roaming here makes it more beautiful in a closer look." I told him.

"Is that so? Then, would you like to stay here?"
That makes me stop on my tracks I look up on him. I measure his words and all I can see in his eyes is his sincerity but I still have doubts, so many that I felt another tightening in my chest.
"Allow me to share my Kingdom to you M'Lady and I promise that you'll never felt anymore misery." He assured.
The floor starts to move and we were slowly pulled down into a complete darkness with my perplexed thoughts.
"King Zale?" I called after a long silence in the darkness.
A blinding light appears in front of me illuminating the place where walls are made of crystals. the ceiling was so high that I can't see the peak giving me a thought of a crystal prison without an escape route. The place where in a complete brightness, an infinite lightness. I looked around and saw the King smiling sweetly making me stare in awe.
"You call me M'Lady?" he asks as he draw near.
"Where are we?" I questioned the King nervously.
"We are here to the place where you really belong." he answers gesturing to his right.
I followed his hand and there I saw a huge round thing surrounded by light. I looked at him in perplexity then return my eyes to that glowing round thing. I swallowed a handful of my own Saliva when it spoke to me which force me to step backwards in fear. as if om cue King Zale grabbed me by the waist and gently pull me closer to the round light.
"How are you Mayar my beloved daughter?" the round light asked.
"My apologies, but Who are you?" I ask interrupting the round of light.
"I am your guide, I am where you came from, I am your keeper, I am above you, I am your Queen." It replies shaking the life of mine.
For a moment I was silenced by the shock that surprises me afterwards, tears fell one after another heedlessly. I gently pushes King Zale and kneel down to my Queen with my sobs. I don't know what to feel but what matters is my Queen talked to me for the very first time in my entire life.
"Stand up Mayar, I had seen your sorrow and now I'm sending you back to the place where you actually came from. I am giving Zale to you to be your keeper, he will be with you for eternity." said the Queen.
King Zale help me stand and wipe some of my tears as I look on him something flashes to my mind that leads me to speak to the Queen.
"He is a King of this kingdom and if you're going to make him as my keeper his followers might revolt against you my Queen." I pointed out.
"I am the queen and your my child rest assured there will never be any chaos on my decision."
Then the Queen disappears in my sight leaving the crystal bright place alone to King Zale and me I. thought it was all, it was overwhelming and surprising at the same time, shocking but I was wrong when King Zale showed his palm with three glowing pearls in it.
"The meaning of your name is glowing moon therefore this glowing pearls suited you M'lady and these are the ones I gave to you."
King Zale clenched his palm and open it again revealing a beautiful crystal made ring with three glowing pearls. I had no idea what was going on and why is he doing that to me. I have plenty of questions and mixed emotions, I don't know what to think first or even what to say. I'm still drowned in my thoughts when he fit the ring in my finger and kiss the back of my palm softly.
"I will be your keeper M'Lady and from now on I will be yours." he stated.
In a blink of an eye we stood on somewhere outside his palace where beauty swarm every corner and all eyes fell on us. Creatures gathered around us with a smile on their faces and greet their King.
"People of Proteus, this is Lady Mayar, child of our Goddess Luna. I was given to her by the Goddess to be her keeper and so I belong to her and will only be hers. she will be staying here in our Kingdom for good, please be kind to her just like how kind you are towards me." King Zale told his followers.
Habitants of Kingdom of Proteus bow as a sign of their conformity with their King afterwards showers of sparkling dust filled the atmosphere and hum of gladness can be heard all over around. I heard praises for their King and for me but still I am in shock. I looked up to my Queen and there she is glowing brightly as ever, as if saying how jubilant she was for me.
Along those joyful noise I hear that familiar voice with fierceness in tone that makes me tremble in fear. King Zale notice my behavior and looked up to their Goddess. It didn't took long for a huge ball of fire approches my spot. King Zale ordered evacuation to his people and together with them we escaped the siege but we were almost hit by the surprised attacks causing us to be sent flying. I lost King Zale when I hit something and be thrown away to another corner. Few seconds after we skid, multiple flaming meteors hit the Kingdom mercilessly.
A caress in my forehead brought me to my senses. I open up my eyes and saw two young creature with wounds and scratches all over their body. their embedded crystals in their forehead has cracks and some tiny pieces were missing. I sit up as they ask my condition and told me that we are going somewhere safe that makes me startle. I look at them and I couldn't see hatred in their eyes or even pain but only loyalty and conformity to their King. tears stream down my face throwing a hug to the young creature and as I let go of them their wounds and scratches were completely healed.
"Her Majesty." said the first being looking at my glowing hands while the other picks up the glowing pearls on my lap. Both exchanged look but I stood and told them to go somewhere before they could say anything I left in a blink of their eyes
I found King Zale waving his hands while looking up in the sky. His powers pushes away huge meteors that was about to hit his Kingdom. In every corner were his sentinels aiming at same spot with their crystal spears breaking the follow up attacks. Casualties help one another to safety and the Kingdom is in a massive catastrophe. If I didn't do anything the Kingdom will turn into a ruins and habitants will have nothing to go anywhere.
"My Queen I appreciate your kindness." I whispered raising my two hands.
Silvery dust fell from the sky and rain all over the kingdom reaching the wounded and unconscious. In a minute King Zale and his Sentinels notice the silvery dust falling healing their wounds, sprains, broken limbs, scratches and return their lost strength.
"There's nothing you could do Mayar." A voice aired from nowhere.
"I know." I cried.
"Your actions says different."
"I will return to my plateau just make sure you will never hurt anyone from the Proteus Kingdom."
King Zale approches me in his golden tail with disbelief in his features and seeing him like that makes my cry. Our heads turn up to the sky seeing it back into serenity. the silvery dust revive the plants and all living creatures in Proteus kingdom then a man appears from nowhere eyeing the King next to me. I put my hands down and starts walking towards the man but King Zale pulled me. In his legs, he grab my waist and tug me very close to him until we are inches apart.
"Don't leave." he mumbled.
"He won't stop destroying the beautiful Kingdom I always dream to lay a foot on. I am now standing right here and given a chance to meet lives and saw many beautiful creations, all of it was because of you. I appreciate it Your Majesty." I said.
"You have suffered too long up there, M'lady. I'm going to change your life here. I am Zale the strength of the sea, I can protect you with my life. The Queen knew that that's why I was given to you."
"My King, your people is the most important treasure in the Kingdom. I know you can save me from the God that imprisoned me but what about the lives of these people who believes and conform in you? I can't stand seeing them in pain, suffering while being caught up between a war of two powerful Lords, I know the feeling of suffering and I don't want to see them experiencing it too. Please understand Your Majesty."
In his eyes formed liquid crystal that trickle onto his cheeks. He didn't say anything but I feel how unwilling he is to accept my decision. his tears beg for me to change my mind but I can't. I know he understands my point but he didn't knew that it was also against my will. I don't want to be chained again in loneliness but seeing the exchange of my freedom, I got to decide what's right. I wipe the King's tears as I smile in bitterness. we just met a while ago but it felt like we knew each other from the beginning of the creation.
Soon I push him to freed my self and walks towards the God that awaits me but before I could reach him a pair of hands pulled me again and imprisoned me in two sturdy arms.
"I understand what you mean but you knew what will gonna happen when you return up there. I may not be able to see you, not in centuries to follow." King Zale pleaded.
"Your Majesty..." I whispered.
"I am not a god compare to you, I am just a mere King of a little Kingdom but I'm giving you my words. Wherever that God may imprisoned you, I will find you and once I lay my eyes on you again we will never be parted." he assured.
That words freezes me completely. The King is making promises to a prisoner but Why? And above it all it gives me hope of being free. I felt being wanted, safe and secured. I wrapped my arms around him and nodded then he loosened his embrace only to plant a tender kiss on my lips then he hugged me more tightly for the last time before I was pulled away from him.
As the God and I ascend to the top I look down on him and saw the creatures kneeling down with tears in their eyes. Why? I haven't spend any time with them, why are they crying? Am I really worth for their tears? or they took pity upon me? And King Zale? he's there looking at me clenching his fist tighter than he could.
My chin were forcefully lift up. I felt the pain of the grip on my flesh but I didn't flinch. The chains hadn't return to my leg but instead a wide cage surround me and the God. I went to the railings and touch it only to be electrified in a very high voltage sending me to the ground.
"Think you can eacape from here? Your lover will never keep his promise." the God said.
The God grab me and pull me to stand but because I am still weak after being electrified I only end up on the floor. He picked me up again and throw me to the railings which electrifies me again. I scream in agony as I feel much higher voltage that tore my skin.
"Kill me instead." I panted when I landed on the ground.
He smirk looking outside the cage then he walk towards the railings and go through it standing very closely at the edge. In just a second the air went warm. I lift my upper body and saw ember rising everywhere. It took me a minute to realize that there was burning and the thing that the God burns was...
"Noooooo!!!" I screamed reaching the railings even though I am electrified over and over again.
It didn't satisfy the God for he brought me next to him and grip on my hair so I could see the sea of flame in front of me. The bluish crystal water was now in mix of red and orange color everywhere. I cried in agony thinking the frolic lives living in the world I always look upon. My body was very weak, I don't have enough strength but to wail. The Kingdom of Proteus was burning and the lives of its inhabitants were all turn into ashes including King Zale.
I woke up feeling heavy and pained but I manage to stand. I find myself inside the cage without memories of how I ended up there all I could remember is the scene of the flaming waters. I didn't look outside the cage because of the scene how it got burned it was so painful. I looked up again to the Queen and I'm a little lucky to see my beloved queen.
"....l will find you and once I lay my eyes on you again we will never be parted...."
It was King Zale's promise that bursts me into tears. my wounds ached by a sudden movement of me to take a glimpse of the world underneath me. It numbed my head seeing a dull plains. There are boulders, high cliffs and nothing more. The once admirable scenery were now a valley of emptiness.
"Curse you.." I snarled.
I glance to my Queen and sigh. I hear the God's annoying laughter of his triumph but I don't mind it. I will never see him anyway its just his voice. I touch my chest, the silenced angel seemed dead inside her cage. My fingers run through my lips. It was my first kiss and my last. I remember the ring which the King gave to me and find it intact in my ring finger.
One day I will be with my Queen and will never ever wander in any world that I will find. So I will never be a prisoner, so I won't meet another King, so there will never be any innocents that might be harmed.
I am a child of Luna the moon above me, the Queen I adore, I am a princess without a crown neither a throne. I am a mere goddess that has the power to heal and nothing else. I was born right even before the world underneath that plateau was even created and wander the lost world alone before I was held captive by a God who is possessive and brutal. For centuries I am chained and kept silent as a sign of solitary mutiny and never wished for anything to change my life.
The Gods isn't sleeping they have their perfect timing and I'm waiting for that to happen
