An arrow brought a girl who’s a ball of stardust who sings symphony for the lost and dying souls in the city of fallen dreams.

She had shown her phases as she chased the furious marble of life, ran 365 days enduring a roller coaster ride of seasons with rosy tint on her face but her eyes with starry sky became storm when days turned into years. The world had left her with lines and scratches of shadows and scars on the face. Her tears that caused tides twisted into a mellifluous sound, voice for the out of reach, song for raging hearts.

With its glitches, it pierced the intrepid glimmering fairy light that keeps the world warm in the palm of his hands. He’s the most stunning among the stars in the ball of stardust’s eyes. But he dauntlessly had burnt everything that he had including the girl’s face as he had drawn lines that created distance during the day. Celerity he invaded his susurrous mind, like an amaranthine, he offered his life taking punches of holes in his suffocating veins. He was facing grim reaper while conquering his fear of heights was a potion of grace.

“Listen close to his heart, and then you’ll trace the boy behind the astounding man,” said the girl.

It was collision that made a portion of the Earth dark during the day called an eclipse. The sun embraced the ball of stardust with his radiance, slowly had burnt her into a tiny firefly.

I wonder if that's how fireflies came into the world. I only once saw a cloud of them at a mountain while camping. It was a few years ago.
