Dutch auctions are a market system in which the price of a multiple-unit product is determined by accepting all bids in various quantities. When the entire collection is sold out, everyone is charged the same price.
In NFTs, Dutch Auctions are erroneously applied since participants pay on a sliding scale based on time and demand, with some paying a lot and others paying a little (especially if they wait until the end and the item does not sell out). The DA is frequently used to create the impression that the community set the price.
