St Petersburg, Russia Losing a Chance to host Football's Most Exciting Finals
Due to recent to the recent attack on Ukraine by Russia caused a catastrophic deterioration of Europe's present security condition and as a result, will cause them the chance of hosting the Final of the UEFA Champions League which is supposed to be held on May 28.
This is not the first penalty Russia is facing since the action of their decision to attack the Ukrainians. Many sanctions have been made affecting the country and causing them a lot already but they are not ready to back off too soon.
Early this morning, The UEFA Executive Committee held a meeting relating to the current situation happening. The outcome of it resulted in St Petersburg losing a chance of hosting the UEFA Champions League which will now take place at Stade De France (France🇫🇷National Stadium).
Also, stated "that an effort will be made by the committee and other Multi-stakeholders to rescue the affected footballers and their families who are currently suffering the destruction happening in Ukraine 🇺🇦 bringing them out the burden to a safer destination. The agency also stated that "Ukraine and Russia National Team will play their games at Neutral grounds.
The UEFA committee showed some gratitude thanking the French President, Emmanuel Macron for his extensive support in the football association and also accepting the opportunity of hosting football's most exceptional game (The UEFA Champions League).
