META plans to charge 47.5 percent on sales of its metaverse platform.

Meta, formerly Facebook, has unveiled its Meta marketplace effort, which would charge up to 47.5 percent on all sales made through its platform and product ecosystem. The price is made up of a 30% hardware fee and a 17.5 percent Horizon Worlds "software" fee.

There isn't much information available, but the pricing appears to be reasonable. Just to give you some examples, the countries with the highest tax rates charge 50-60%, but they also provide real-world utility and many comforts (healthcare, education, defense), but I believe Meta is just providing a lot more value.
