First impressions after some days of using Noise.App is that I like the smooth and slick interface. Also, feels more user friendly and easier to use for newbies than Noise.Cash Couple of things I'd like to see in the future added; 1) search bar function for posts / users. Makes it easier to connect with people you know from other platforms or find a post you want to revisit. 2) Mark all as read function for unread posts in your feed. If you follow many people you don't have the time to scroll and read everything. Also, if you are offline for some days there are a lots of posts piling up, including from days ago that could be old news or not relevant info anymore.

It's pretty decent. Reminds me a lot of facebook early days with no ads and pretty much anything goes type vibe. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like the having to be a friend and friended back in order to comment but it seems like a rather decent way to keep away spam. The issue with that HUGE censorship lol
I like the idea of a mark all as read button. Also, a search function would be very helpful.

How can I update the app when I'm using my browser?
It should be up to date then. In Unread click the blue rectangle with the unread count, you should see "Mark all as read".
1) Planned, but hard to implement right to prevent spam. Post your noise.app invite link (set the invite to 25 people) to that platform for now. 2) Click [99+] button in the bottom right. If you don't have it, update the app.

I would add a "knock knock" function... like asking an author for friendship to add you to his list. because e.g. otherwise I cannot add my wise words to the random noise by @bitcoinbaby :D

We're definitely listening to the problem ("how to get attention from someone"), it's just that we think there must be a better solution that won't allow pure spam (and therefore will lead us to heavy moderation, censorship or bots wars)
