This article is a follow-up to my previous piece explaining Noise.Cash and offering my view on useful Netiquettes and Tips for making the most of your experience there.

Now, I will not focus much on what are the Chambers, how you can create one, and how do they work. If you are familiar with Noise, then you already know this.

The truth is there are a number of Chambers, ranging from the big ones having thousands of subscribers to really tiny ones with a couple of followers. Since everyone can create a Chamber there is a plethora of small / tiny ones - many of them inactive and without posts. - And lot's of copy pasta chamber names as well!-

Sometimes, the large Chambers have spam and over-posting issues. This is normal. New users (or bitcoin cash tip farmers will brigade those Chambers) join with a hope to make more bitcoin cash which makes it hard to navigate through them and find interesting content. Sometimes you have to scroll past a number of posts in order to find something relevant or interesting.

Proposal #1: add a top/hot ranking that will update every hour or more. This will feature some of the Chamber's posts with the most likes during that timeframe making it easier to scroll through and identify relevant info. The key ingredient is to find a balance in which top/hot post can be refreshed during regular intervals as there are tens of posts per minute in some Chambers and some gems can be lost in the ranking system.

Proposal #2: add the option to downvote spam / irrelevant posts. For example, when I am browsing the Cryptocurrency Chamber I do not want to see random Good-morning posts, or Nature Photography, or philosophical quotes, or food posts, etc. If users are were to downvote those posts they would a) make the poster aware that these types of posts are not relevant b) allow for better posts to come in the front page.

Proposal #3: add dedicated chamber moderators. As far as I know there are no dedicated moderators in any of the subs, or at least if there are they are not listed anywhere. Thus, adding moderators could help in cleaning up the popular Chambers from spam. Moderators should have as a duty to remove irrelevant or spam posts, either by placing them to the relevant Chamber or deleting them. Such thing would be welcoming in popular subs.

Proposal #4: add an explanation of what each Chamber is for in order to set the right expectations. This could be done by having it as a pinned post on the top of the Chamber when visiting. By reading the pinned post, new users who join would know the purpose of each Chamber they join, set expectations and alter their posting habits accordingly.

Proposal #5: require an account age of let's say 1-2-3-5-7 days before being able to join certain Chambers. This way new users won't be flooding Cryptocurrency, Cryptotrading, Bitcoin Cash and other important Chambers and sharing stuff unrelated. Some news users do that because they do not understand what Noise.Cash is really about and if we give them the benefit of the doubt and some time to learn the ropes in the more general Chambers they can improve their standing and posting habits.

That's all for today folks! I hope you enjoyed it. Always looking forward to your comments and constructive criticism.
