How Bitcoin Cash can create a decentralized social media multiplatform

Alright, I have been thinking a lot lately about the involvement of Bitcoin Cash in the social media sphere. It all started with read.cash, the bloglike platform where users can receive tips on their articles through tips received by other users (or the Random Reward Bot!). Read.cash gives a Medium type of feeling, with tips being awarded in Bitcoin cash, thus making authors more familiar with the blockchain economy.

The idea to tip not just authors, but also readers who comment on articles, is brilliant as in itself ensures that all get to profit something from their engagement in the platform. This puts both authors and readers in a mode where they constantly strive to produce high quality content as to increase their reward pool.

Then, we move into noise.cash which is a short message status update platform - Twitter is be similar to it. You basically Noise and Renoise (share) statuses. There's a number of chambers, similar to groups on Facebook or subreddits on Reddit. Periodically, users are awarded free tips in bitcoin cash. How this works; You can use these free tips to tip posts from other users and decide what percentage of the tip will be awarded to you and what to the poster (something similar to tips in Publish0x). That then, is transferred directly to your linked wallet.

Noise.cash interface is slick and minimal. There's lots of interesting content being posted everyday but since it is still in alpha phase these is a lot of room for improvement. Another worth mentioning feature is that everyone can create a chamber and user can decide to join as many chambers as they like. Last, there are no all-powerful chamber moderators to serve as gatekeepers which in its turn can limit free deliberation of ideas and infringe our right to free digital speech.

Future potential development / suggestions

Just look at some of the influencers, prank, funny videos, podcast shows, music videos, etc. They hit hundreds of millions or even billions of views, with a massive amount of comment and engagement from their user base. This is something that ought to be taken into consideration. Maybe create a platform and name it video.cash (I like this name!).

You will see a surge from new content creators if you pay them in bitcoin cash. Everyone talks about crypto now and wants to have the alternative of being paid in digital currencies instead of inflationary FIAT money. Especially independent creators will be more keen on adopting it rather than companies and corporative video personas / channels.

Second create an audio chat platform, where discussions will be unfiltered, thoughtful and direct. Where there is genuine deliberation and exchange of ideas. Something similar to Clubhouse, which itself is a copy of other similar apps. Call it sound.cash (I also like this name!) and add chambers, in the form of noise.cash. Start small with just a few in the alpha phase where discussion can revolve around topics like Bitcoin Cash, Blockchain, and Cryptocurrencies.

Then, expand it to include other crypto initiatives, DeFi, NFT creators, Crypto Exchanges, etc. Invite the people heading some of the projects to run their respective chambers and host their discussions. Also, offer incentives in terms of generous tips per number of people tuning in to the chambers to listen. Combine that with giving the users a chance to be able to deposit bitcoin cash in their accounts and use it to tip discussions or their respective chamber. Use then the chamber tips/rewards for the further development of smaller project while in larger established projects you can use those bitcoin cash rewards for social initiatives and awareness.

Finally, create a social media umbrella, name it Social.Cash (?!) where users can create their accounts which can be automatically linked to the two existing platforms (noise.cash, read.cash) and the two others I have just proposed (video.cash, sound.cash). This seamless integration will make it easier for users to move from other platform to the other and use them. Also, the user's bitcoin cash wallet can be linked to the umbrella social platform/interface making it easier and faster to earn tips and be tipped for their engagement and content.
