Wars are the most perverse manifestation of violence. for the preparation they need and for the interests that they hide or openly show. But the most perverse thing is that participating in a war is the thoughtful decision of our political leaders who evaluate, as it cannot be otherwise in current international relations, the benefit that war can bring them.
These benefits, personal, economic, political, or whatever they are, are what make a war sexy.
A war in which we taxpayers pay with money and human lives. For a war it is interesting for the military-industrial complex, because this is how they spend weapons, make the economy spin, and enormous expenses in other things that are not even relevant, which in these times of crisis are totally criticized by the general public.
Big words have always scared me, but shouldn't we hide the ugliness of the real? Much more when they are used by people whose sincerity can be questioned and their true reasons usually remain hidden.
So what will become of our Venezuela? Could it be that we continue to hear about liberating the massacred people? Could it be that we will get ahead and overcome this Covid-19 pandemic? Or will we all starve to death?
Oh what will become of my Venezuela
