1. In building relationships with your client the very first thing to do is to know your client, research a little about your client, you need to he/she talks, or how his mind works. Some clients tend to like a direct to the point conversation , you say what you want to say then make the deal while others like to have an ice breaker, something like that. So the very first need to do is to know them.
2. One thing to consider in building a relationship with anyone either a client or not, is your way of talking or your choice of words. In every conversation you need to be very careful with your words because people have different levels of sensitivity. For example you're the kind of person who likes to joke but your clients aren’t so you must adjust for it, especially for your first time meeting.
3. Next is you should let your client feel that he/she is being heard on the opinions ,comments he is about to say. Since building a relationship is created through communications where feedback takes place, you should be able to jot down on your notes all your clients suggestions or opinions because everyone appreciates being heard.
4. Being able to learn how to communicate and to listen , the next thing to do in building up a relationship with your client is to remain constant. Being consistent is one of the keys to get your client. On the other hand, it’s not a client you want to pursue but rather a girl, this can be applied to, you need to always make them feel wanted.
5. This may not be the last thing to consider, but this is very important so I’ve also wanted to add it and it is to be a real person on your client not on any platform of communication like through social media , emails , or any use of technology. We must consider their emotions, their expressions and their attention because emotions can be felt clearly when talking in person. Their emotions and feelings are very vital when building a relationship with someone because it is the things that will give significance to your existence to them.
