Reasons Why e-Learning/Online Examinations May Not Be Successful In Nigeria In the world today there is fear of the covid-19 pandemic and due to that, major activities that can help life matter has been put on hold, even schools. Now down to Nigeria, Nigeria too has also adopted this strategy called lockdown to contain the spread of the deadly disease. Some schools are already holding virtual classes, some states are giving lessons to students through the radio like abia state, some through the TV like wazobia TV to help and equip students academically. Some Nigerian universities already have one or two e-learning apps to aid students academically, but not all students has these apps or app. Even though is a good use to their academic performance, from my research on the cbt examination that takes place every year it isn't favourable for many students; faults here and there, ystem shutting down automatically and the rest of them. If that cbt examination wasn't favourable for many students, I don't think online examinations can be of good help to every student. * Not all students in the university has a smart phone, the few that do have; may be faulty or many other issues attached. This is a hindrance for them to access the internet or what is going on in the world at large. An online classroom has already been placed for the 100lv students on their portal, funny enough not all students knows about this and even if most does know about it, the ability to access the internet, have data subscription, light issue, most students will lack behind on this and may even loose interest. *This online examination is of risk Because there might hackers who might want to shatter the success of the online examination. There may be errors/mistake on the questions being given and where it is an online something a student can't get help, the students may just fail woefully. One way possibility of this is if it is going to be an offline examination it can be accessed without data subscription or through e-learning app. The app will be upgraded to have an option of online examination and the app will be accessed free of charge-no payment. .

Activities That Contributes To Boost Brain's Retainability Activities which contribute to brain boost and retainablity especially for exams. As humans, there are rules or principles we can follow that can be of great help in our lives both mentally, socially and otherwise . Here are facts and research results that proves to help in brain boosting and retainablity for exams and others. 1 ) G-factor (God factor): Involving God and studying the word of God, in all we do. If God is not involved there is no complete usefulness in it. It is also good we study the word of God, pray to make God part of our life and as a factor, once the word of God is present and active in one's life, it can help in our physical self anyway. So before someone prepares for an exam, he/she should try studying the word of God. 2) Seep/Rest: Having a nice sleep at your free time and after reading a book, gives the brain balance and relaxation and also helps in the building of brain cells. 3) Brainfeed(Mnd games): Keeping the brain active and buzzing with brain games, trivias or question helps in boosting function of the brain especially after reading. it doesn't give the brain a dull moment. Healthy foods such as fruits, milk, fish and eggs should be taken to improve memory. 5) Know Your Reading Attitude, Style And Ability: It is a good idea to know your reading capability, how long you can stay to read when to read, and styles to read; be it in the morning , afternoon or night. Only you can do the check to know which is right for you, everyone is different.

Strategies That Encourages Freshmen To Study At Home Amid #COVID-19 Stay-At-Home Policy IT IS UNDERSTANDABLE THAT SOME FRESHMEN FIND IT DIFFICULT TO STUDY OR EVEN OPEN THEIR BOOKS DURING THIS STAY-AT-HOME CURFEW IMPOSED AS A RESULT OF THE PANDEMIC OUTBREAK OF THE NOVEL CORONA VIRUS. THIS ATTITUDE OF RELUCTANCY TO STUDY MIGHT BE AS A RESULT OF OVERWHELMING WORKS, TIREDNESS, IGNORANCE, HOUSE CHORES OR EVEN LAZINESS. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT SITUATION AND SHOULD BE GIVEN MAXIMUM ATTENTION. IN LIGHT TO THAT, THESE ARE MY VIEWS, POINTS AND OPINIONS THAT CAN BE USED TO TACKLE THIS IGNORANCE AND RELUCTANCY, AND IT WILL BE ADVISABLE THAT ALL FRESHMEN ENGAGE IN THEM AND MAKE GOOD USE OF THEIR TIME WHILE IT LASTS. 1) BEING FOCUSED: IRRESPECTIVE OF THIS VIRUS AND THE DISADVANTAGES IT HAS BROUGHT TO OUR VARIOUS LIVES AND CHANGES IN ACTIVITIES IN PLACES SUCH AS SCHOOLS, CHURCHES, SOCIAL ACTIVITIES, AND MANY OTHERS, BE FOCUSED AND DO NOT LET THAT WEIGH YOU DOWN OR DISTRACT YOU. DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED, BE STRONG-HEARTED AND EVER RELIANT ON THE GOOD AND BETTER DAYS AHEAD. 2) REMEMBER YOUR GOALS: YOUR GOALS ARE WHAT KEEPS U PUSHING, THEY ARE WHAT KEEP YOU FIGHTING. Effective Strategies That Encourage Freshmen To Study At Home Amid COVID-19 Stay-at-Home Policy 01.04.2020 This information is for the benefit of all Freshman. It is no longer news that academic activities has taken a pause in all parts of the country due to the novel Coronavirus pandemic. Hence, academic activities are most likely to resume once the disease is contained and is therefore advisable that freshmen make uptimum use of this break. ```Some strategies that encourages freshmen to study at home during this break in academic activities are:``` √ COMPULSORY STAY-AT-HOME POLICY IMPOSED BY THE GOVERNMENT This policy imposed by the government has indirectly encouraged all freshman to convert this QuaranTIME to StudyTIME. √ DRAFTING-OUT A STUDY TABLE AND STICKING TO IT Drafting out a study time table might seem easy, but sticking to it may pose a little challenge as it requires a great deal discipline execute. Drafting a study table with times and subjects to study acts as a workplan to guide reading. √ CREATING A TO-DO LIST AND SETTING GOALS:📝 If it's to draw-up a to-do list of activities to be accomplished on a daily basis, then it will be a great idea to start now as time waits for no man. To do this get a sticky note and write out all the subjects to be read including activities to do on that day. Tick each completed activity for that day, this helps build motivation to stay indoors and study, and also develops self-discipline. ✅Written By: James Okpani🤓

Improvements I Hope read.cash Can Make On This Platform 1. London Time There should be a live clock to show what time it is in London +0 GMT. 2. Private Chats Private chats should be considered. There should be a private chat where people can message the admin if there's any complain they'll like to make. 3. Upvotes Should be Removed With the rate at which people misuse this upvoting system, I personally think it should be totally removed instead of reducing the quality of $ earned in it, considering the fact that most read.cashers now do the upvote-for-upvote system which is just a ploy to earn faster instead of showcasing our creative ability in writing. 4. Continue The Good Work Lastly, I wish to commend the admins and sponsors of read.cash for creating a platform like this to showcase our creativity while being paid for it, please keep up the good work. 5 Reasonable Things That Freshmen Should Engage Themselves in During COVID__ 19 1. Students are expected to keep their self safe and protected from this pandemonic virus. 2. Students are expected to keep to the updates of any positive result of this deadly virus and precautionary measures to take. 3. Students are expected to be vigilant and prayerful in their various beliefs and religion for safety of themselves and the world at large. 4. Students should be encouraged to read their books and prepare to the academic assessments that may or may not come anytime soon. 5. Students are expected to have any kind of fun they want provided that is safe and the outcome is not dangerous to anyone.

@Captainrex5

Five 5 Reasonable Things Freshmen Should Engage Themselves In During This Pandemic. 1) Taking Proactive Health measures: wash your hands regularly and wash for at least for 20 seconds. avoid crowded environments and also keep your distance from people you suspect are sick with symptoms like cough sneeze, etc 2) Study: in times like this when the institution goes for an unplanned break in academic activity is an opportunity to cover a large scale of your academic work by reading your books extensively to cover your course outline. 3) Be Updated: become loud with the media with the recent happenings in the world especially with regards the covid-19 pandemic and information related to it. 4) Stay Safe: As regards to the covid-19 pandemic and it's preventive measures to avoid the spread of the deadly virus, we have been mandated by the federal government and higher medical authorities to isolate ourselves if we have symptoms of covid-19 for fourteen days by staying indoors so as to cease the continuous spread of the virus. 5) Be prayerful: In times like this, when the world is passing through this heavy challenge of losing lives everyday (constant death) we are obliged to pray for our safety and the safety of the world.

How to Engage Yourself During This Lockdown In recent weeks there has been an increase in cases of COVID-19 in a number of countries across the world. we now know that the majority of people who get the disease experience a mild illness, but because this is a new virus we are not complacent, and our scientists will continue to learn from evidence emerging both here and internationally. But to my point of view and advice to what freshmen should ingage themselves in this COVID-19 are below: 1) Self-isolate if Need Be: As COVID-19 is now spreading in communities, people with or without symptoms of coronavirus should self-isolate to reduce the spread of this deadly virus. This means if the freshmen should also engage themselves by staying indoors and avoiding contact with other people for sometime after the onset of symptoms. People can return to normal activity after a few days or weeks after testing negative for the virus twice in a row. It’s very important to point out that we expect that the majority of people who contract COVID-19 will not need to see a health professional as their symptoms will be mild, such as those you might expect with a cold or flu. We understand that being asked to self-isolate could be inconvenient, frustrating or boring, particularly if you have mild symptoms and feel well enough to go out, but we are only asking people to do this as doctors and scientists believe it is necessary in order to slow the spread of coronavirus, protect people who are vulnerable and help the NHS manage capacity. 2) Have A Plan There are a number of ways to slow down an infectious disease outbreak. Well-established tactics include self-isolation as mentioned above, as well as measures sometimes referred to as “social distancing.” Its very important that the freshmen, engaged themselves in social distancing. One example of social distancing could be encouraging more working from home for instance, or another option could involve urging people to continue to go to work or school as usual, but reduce social activity or non-essential travel. Looking ahead, what preparations could you put in place to help you self-isolate if you needed to? Do you have friends or neighbours who could bring food to your house or run errands, or could you do online shopping? Could you talk to your employer about opportunities to work from home if this became necessary? If you might be more vulnerable to severe symptoms of coronavirus, have you considered the activities you have planned over the coming weeks, listing which are essential and which you could cancel if you needed to? Could you arrange to work from home? Don’t forget to think of others too. Do you have friends, family or neighbours who might need extra help? We understand that people will want to know whether and when any social distancing measures could happen but it is not possible to confirm this now. These measures would only be implemented if scientists and experts, including the UK’s Chief Medical Officers, decide they are necessary and proportionate, informed by the latest scientific evidence. Any decision will balance both the need to protect people with the importance of maintaining day to day life such as going to work or school 3)READING its very advisable that we the freshmen to engage ourselves very well, by reading our books and prepare ourselves for exams. Reading Helps Students Focus When you’re immersed in a good mystery novel or compelling news article, the world around you melts away. For students who have trouble focusing, reading can improve attention span and overall productivity in school. If you can find a topic of interest, try setting aside time before or after school to explore. According to a study by the University of Sussex, reading for as little as six minutes can reduce stress levels up to 68 percent! Especially for students going through the stressful college application process, anything to take your mind off things for a few minutes while still working your brain is encouraged. 4) BE PRAYERFUL Looking at the challenges and situation the whole world is passing through now, especially the deadly disease called COVID-19 my advice to my fellow FRESHMEN is to pray always. Why Should We Pray – To whom do we pray to? Before we can answer, “why should we pray,” we must know to whom do we pray to. There is only one supreme Creator and sovereign God. There is only one way to Him and that is through His only- Son, Jesus Christ. God, our Heavenly Father, is the only one we can be assured of who hears and answers our prayers. He is the God of amazing love, mercy, and forgiveness. By Him, all things are possible. Jesus says in Mark 10:27, "Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God." Daniel 9:18 tells us: “We do not ask because we deserve help, but because you are so merciful.” (Mercy means showing favor, compassion, and kindness.) God’s ultimate demonstration of love is forgiveness of the sins each of us have committed. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it” (John 3:16-17). He is the only God who has done this, and is the only God able to do so. But His enemy, Satan, has sent many false gods to deceive mankind. Do not be deceived nor allow anything or anyone to take priority over the only true and living God. 5)BEING MEDIA AND INFORMATION LITERATE looking to what is going on in the world now, its very important that the freshmen try as much as possible to engage themselves by getting all the relevant information they need. You need to be informed to act in the world according to the best knowledge available. If you are not informed, you are a gullible person. Gullible people will make loads of bad choices in their lives, with their money and with their vote, which often means making bad choices with every ones else's money. Same thing happens to information literacy, if you can't evaluate information by yourself, you will depend on others to do this for you, they I'll likely decide on what's best for them, as much as you trust them, be it your parent, your friend, your bank manager, your minister, your radio host or your political leader. Its always better to think for yourself, even if to know why you trust who you trust to decide on your behalf.

What to do During This Lockdown Good day everyone, In question of the corona Virus pandemic (covid 19) which has caused everything to remain in abnormalcy in the country for both the government and its citizens posing threats to many lives in dangers and fear, this mandated the government to order for the shutting down of all public gatherings both in schools, churches, borders public and private institutions. This are my points of view and advice what the freshmen should engage themselves during this lockdown. 1) Key to instructions from the NCDC during this dangerous time which the so called covid_19 has caused to the world by: a) Avoiding large gatherings. b) Washing your hands properly with soap and clean water, in the absence of this use alcohol based sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. 2) Reading: This is not a time to play around or watch unnecessary movies this is a time to read and study books, because I must say that this is more of a grace to the freshmen because we all know once the commencement of school activities begins it is gonna be a rushed semester for both the tests, practicals and exams. 3) Commitment to God: He alone is the Almighty and it says pslam 121:I look up to the mountain where will my heart come from my help will come from the Lord who made heaven and earth, so I guess you should commit all your prayers to him both in this trying times and in your academic life. 4) Media: This is a time to watch educative and creative programmes not a time to watch movies🤣that could impact you negatively. 5) Call the toll free number if you got any cases of covid 19 irrespective of your best friend this shit is so real 080097000010.

My Advice on What to Do During This Lockdown Hi everyone,👋 My name is James. As regards to the corona virus outbreak which has caused and posed so many threats to the lives and well-being of every body in the country and in the world at large, this made the government to order for the closure of borders, schools, public and private sectors, businesses, churches, shops and other crowded areas of our human lives. This are my views and advice on what to do during this lockdown due to this pandemic and the long vacation we will have as a result of it. 1) Reading: In as much as this outbreak has disrupted academic calendar of most schools, it is very advisable that freshmen don't take this opportunity as a joke and feel reluctant, thereby wasting the precious time being awarded to us in this break, it is very much advisable that we notably open our books during this trying times and study as hard as possible, it is possible that after this break comes school activities which may not return to normalcy due to the disease. So to this effect things may be rushed and there will be a positive response from those who made good use of their time. 2) Adhere to Instructions: During this trying times, there are alot of advices and steps to maintain a healthy life and also prevent yourself from this disease, these steps Includes: a) Wash your hands. b) Avoid crowded areas. c) Self isolate for at least 14 days. 3) Make use of the Media to get information from credible sources such as WHO and NCDC. 4) Learn and Develop a Skill: It is advisable that every good student learns one or two skills, you may not see the importance, but a skill comes of importance in the nearest future. If you've already acquired a skill, this might be a good time to upgrade or develop those skills. 5) Be prayerful: This should be my number one point, but I wrote it last for a reason, prayer serves as a turning point, this pandemic seems to have out-stayed it's welcome and scientist and researchers all over the world are working to find a cure for it. In trying times like this I advise you get closer more than ever to God because he created us and would want what's best for us, getting close to him only ensures your safety. Peace✌️

Five Reasonable Activities that Freshmen can Engage in During This Lockdown It is no longer news that the activities of most countries of the world has been brought to a standstill due to the recent outbreak of Corona virus. Unfortunately, our beloved country hasn't been left out from the share of this pandemic. This has led to the closure of public activities such as church gatherings, mosques, market places and schools aren't left out. This might cause problems for students more especially freshmen who are yet to understand the system of the university. Now in the light of this mire, students can still make good use of their time. Here are ways students can engage themselves during this lockdown. Freshmen can use this break to reflect on the part of the semester gone by. Examine themselves on the time they've spent so far. Also check to see if they're on course to achieving the goals they had set before the semester commenced or if they've deviated from the goals. Freshmen can also use this break to set new goals for themselves. Draw up a step-by-step plan/process in which they hope to follow in achieving these goals. This helps put them back on track when schools eventually resumes. One of the most important things freshmen must always do is to always engage themselves with their books this break. There is a high tendency that immediately the school resumes, they go straight into their exams due to the time lost during the break. This makes things complicated for freshmen who failed to read on their own during the break. Finally this break was caused due to a global pandemic. It's important freshmen remember to stay safe always and always abide to the rule of health personnels so as not to be a victim of this virus. I'll end this with a popular saying.. "CORONA VIRUS IS REAL"...😄 #staysafe #lockdown #covid19 @abir997 is organizing dual promo Follow this link to participate https://read.cash/@abir997/chance-to-get-upvote-and-sponsership-6a246e03
