When we need to unlock blessings from God, there is always the best way to do that., And go by it too.
Among all other virtues, thankfulness beats others hands down.
Being thankful in this case doesn't just entail saying a simple "thank you '' to humans alone., But also to God.
Thanksgiving is as essential as any positive virtue you can think of. In as much as you want to continue enjoying privileges from God and man, as a whole, you must always learn the act of Thanksgiving. It is of the essence.
Now being thankful to God, shouldn't be one-sided, or be on the basis of what we are receiving from him.
How do I mean?
I mean that, in all our thankfulness to God, the source that creates life. It shouldn't just be based on the blessings he enabled us to enjoy,
The favors he granted us
The success he made happen because of us,
The business deal he enabled us to close.
We shouldn't limit our Thanksgiving to God based on how many blessings he has given unto us. Because even if we are to weigh the blessings and dish our thanks based on that, it can never be enough, because the gift of life, Worth's so much more than all the thanks we could ever give.
Here is the story of John, the clerk to Mr. Daniels. John has been orphaned since the age of five, with no adult to take responsibility for him. He survived by living on the streets and begging. Then at the age of 10, applied to work as a sales boy, before he met Mr. Daniels at 15years.

On hearing this, Mr. Daniels was super proud of John's mentality. Among all the people he had worked with, he has never seen a grateful soul as John's. Why should he withhold giving him something he can actually give.
It triggered him to give more, and then he came to a conclusion and decision to sponsor him through our higher institution. Today, John is a graduate of one of the prestigious universities in America and is thriving well in business today.
All these his SUCCESSES are all products of Thanksgiving.
And just like Mr. Daniels, that is how God is triggered to do more when we are so very appreciative of the little things he has done for us.
God has feelings, and so does man.
If as a man, when you do something small for someone and he/she is very grateful to you, and you feel the urge to do more, how much more God? The giver of life., Think about it!
God delights in our Thanksgiving, because it is the one, out of many signs that you are so grateful and appreciative for the efforts and things he does for us on a daily basis.
Don't just thank God for what he has done, thank him for what he did months back, years back, days back, weeks back, hours back, minutes back, seconds back.
Don't just thank him for today, or what he just did now, or what he is doing currently in our lives.
Sometimes, we just have to take quality time and thank him ahead of time.
Thank him for what he is about to do, what he will do in minutes time, hours time, in days to come, on weeks to come, in months to come, in years to come, and others.
When you do these constantly, you are only but sending a message both to God and humans, whoever be the case, that you are grateful and you deserve the blessings.
In case you didn't know, Thanksgiving has gone a long way for so many people, in bringing favors to them, and sorting out their problems.. this is because they understood the need to be appreciative, and the essence of Thanksgiving.

✓It makes us objects of role models to people, regarding thanksgiving.
✓Thanksgiving, aids growth of any sort. Spiritual, moral, academic. There isn't any friendship that is valuable If appreciation and thanks are not allocated in due time.
✓Thanksgiving preserves great Relationships with people.
✓It enables us to be divinely connected by a friend, colleague, or boss, that we probably have always been appreciatefull to, to our destiny helpers.
In all we do, we should never fail to thank God for life, and other things her has done for us years back, the ones he is still doing and is about to do.
Thanksgiving is of the essence. Where ever it is missing, there wouldn't be a balance of things.
