Co-education

Education for a boy and a girl from the same educational institution is known as co-education. co-education is the modern system, a system where two opposite gender, participate in the same learning center.

The system of most primary education institutions is co-educational. Two different sexes or genders learn to respect each other without feeling any superiority in the co-education system. In the beginning, the parents did not allow their daughters to study in the same educational institutions as the boys but with time this ignorance has now vanished and the parents have made their daughters equal to the boys. And nowadays awareness has spread so much. People have become so aware. Parents have become so aware that they do not shy away from educating their daughters in the co-education system but motivate them that they are not less than boys, but be equal to them and be able to compete with them everywhere in every field. For kids, the co-educational system of schools has lots of advantages. The biggest benefit of co-education is that it prepares children for the life ahead of their adolescence. In the office, men and women have to work together and have to help each other. It is much easier for children who have been educated in co-educational institutions to work in such an environment.
Advantage
• Equality;
In a co-educational system, two opposite genders study together and do different activities and they are treated based on their abilities and grades and not based on their gender or sex. Co-education instructs that any sex is not superior but equal to both, whether male or female.
• Socialization;
Those who have not studied in co-education have great difficulty in communicating with or meeting their opposite sex and co-education is a trait that teaches us that how to interact with our opposite gender and helps us in our lives to hang out in communicating with others.
• Competition
Co-education provides a platform for both genders to express themselves. It gives both sexes a chance to show off their talents and show that neither gender is superior but both are equal whether it is male or female. In co-educational institutions students are made to discuss or debate on the issue of sexism, to understand each other perspective.
Disadvantages:
•Distraction;
There are many chances in the co-educational system the students are maybe distracted from a straight path and can go on the wrong path and the period of acquiring their knowledge can be disturbed which is a negative point of the educational system.
• Immoral activities;
There is a lot of wrongdoing in the co-education system, when two opposite gender come in front of each other then they try to suppress each other. Girls, in particular, face a lot of difficulties, Boys who are with them in the same center can be rude, immoral, and in most cases try to rape them, which is a negative point of the co-educational system. The girls especially suffer from depression and psychological problems.
• Against religion or cultures
There have been many people around the world who say that the co-educational system goes against their religion or their customs and the co-educational system is against their culture. And because of these things, parents are reluctant to send their daughters to a co-education system and forbid them from studying in a co-education school.
Conclusion:
Just as there are two sides to every picture, if the same thing applies to co-education, it also has some negative and some positive impressions. It has some advantages and some disadvantages that we have mentioned above. And now it is not a matter of what are the advantages or disadvantages of education, but what we think about it and what our attitude is about the educational system, is the matter. And if we put all these things together and draw a conclusion from it, we conclude that the first responsibility is of parents to tell their children the difference between right and wrong. Then we have to change ourselves because the first man changes himself then changes others, because when you point one finger at someone and three fingers are towards you then first we have to change ourselves, only then can we bring about change in society. Besides, we must motivate our daughters to read, complete with boys and make their families and their country famous everywhere.
