The Rejected Child

Engineer kola and Dr Mrs Ada Omowunmi start off well by being good ambassadors of their families, the communities and Nigeria at large. Their only son Ayo gets instigated with the family achievement.

He uses his position and privilege to assault the innocent maid Omolaso. This eventually resulted in an unwanted pregnancy. The parent pleaded with him to accept responsibility but the shame of stooping low to marry omolaso made him deaf. He disregarded the parent and marries his heartthrob, Nneka. The God of vengeance stood at work. Ayo and Nneka lived a turbulent life. The children never came as expected. Twins arrived after sometime giving them false hope. The twins: Joseph and Mary derailed and died prematurely during their different escapades. The rejected child, opeyemi, becomes a renowned surgeon. Ayo is full of regret and remorse. He pleads to Opeyemi and his parents for forgiveness. Opeyemi, the rejected child, eventually becomes the solution to the family. This proofs that God is all-knowing. God is Omnipotent and all sufficient God. No one has a right to condemn another. Opeyemi, the rejected child emerges the corner stone and solution to the Omomunmi's family.

Ayo, the son of Engr. Kola and Dr (Mrs) Ada Omowunmi brings shame and disappointment to his parents when he oversteps his bounds. Nevertheless, the consistent faith of his mother turns things around for him for good, but not quite so for his children who refused to change from their bad ways.

This story inspired me,that sometimes our lives can be messed up due to our shortcomings or failures of those close to us, but hard work, honesty and true faith in God pay off in the end.
