Two-faced
December 30, 2021
Coins have two sides. The heads is on one side of the coin, and on the other side is the tails. In life, there are individuals who are also two-faced, not in the literal sense but in the figurative sense. They really exist, and sometimes you do not notice; it is the person that you consider a friend who possesses this type of characteristic.
For today, we're going to talk about something related to this. But before you go any further, I'd want to wish you a pleasant evening. The year 2022 is quickly approaching, and I hope that you are able to find happiness and peace as we welcome the new year.
Double-faced people will claim to be your friends while actually attempting to take advantage of you when you are most vulnerable to their plans.
They are self-centered and control-obsessed, and they overpraise to get their work done. They are in a position of tolerant authority. In general, they are considered rivals disguised as fake friends. Kind people tend to be more innocent than others. But sometimes, ignorant people are less self-centered. That is a proven fact.
Some people are either somewhat or a lot too manipulative.
Occasionally, it is done with malevolence. However, it does happen by chance from time to time. The reason for this is that it is possible that it is about the way someone speaks, in which case you sound like you are always perfect and proper in all situations. And when you start talking, you delve really deep into it, almost as if you are trying to change the other person's opinion, but you wouldn't go so far as to accuse them of gaslighting them or making them question their own beliefs.
Note:
Gaslighting is a colloquialism, loosely defined as making someone question their own reality.
Nonetheless, there are those who are experienced at manipulating because they have been doing so for their entire lives or since they were able. But they also probably manipulate themselves into thinking or acting in specific ways. Having said that, in either case, they use society as a lens through which they can see things from many different angles.
Sometimes, there are more than two.
There are times where people desire it because they want to become perfectionists, and this is understandable at some point but not totally. And, undoubtedly, they prefer to keep their true selves hidden in public. However, I do not believe that everyone is two-faced.
If a person is happy with themselves, there is no need to put up a false front for others. They absolutely shimmer, and everybody who looks at them will notice.
Those who are lacking in happiness, as well as those who deal with envy and other emotional difficulties, are the ones who will fake their personalities not just by being two-faced, but many times over. They are also self-centered and manipulative, which adds insult to damage. They may be disguised, but in general, they seek power, not just to control others who are inferior but also because these people wants attention and are could be treacherous.
Takeaways:
People are often just afraid of the selfish who is also manipulative at the same time, which is the most terrifying of all the things stated. And then there are some who are true to their word and the most honest of all. They can be self-centered at times, but they are not always deceitful. Sometimes all you have to do is talk to them, and they will accept your words without hesitation. Just remember to respect everyone's personal space and never cross the line.
Two-faced individuals are sometimes hard to notice, but surrounding ourself with people who truly care for us is of great help.
Thanks for the new word!
