Swine Pork / Pork Kaldereta
Hello mga ka cookers, here I am again to share my recipes.And thank you so much admin and to your moderators.
Pork kaldereta, is a filipino tomato based stew dish. She has pork ham or belly, carrots, potatoes, tomato sauce, liver spread and other vegtables. The beef version of the beef is more popular but this dish has nothing to say, too. The best secret for preparing pork cakes and the meat you are going to need is freshly brewed rice. I also recommend using liver spread as this will make the meal even more enjoyable. Try my kaldereta recipe and let me know your comments or recommendations :)
1 hour, 3-4 servings
Here are the ingredients;
*3 Table spoons cooking oil
*1 lbs pork, cubed
*1 medium potato cut into small cubes
*1 medium red pepper
*1 onion, sliced
*4 gloves of garlic, minced
*32 oz. pork broth
*1/4 cup liver spread
*1 sachet of tomato sauce is large to taste Salt and pepper
Steps/Procedure
1.Heat oil in cooking pot
°Once the oil is hot saute the onion and garlic
2.Put the pork Stir and cook for 4-5mins or wait for light to medium brown pork
3.Add tomato sauce or pork broth. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
4.Put the liver spread. Stir and cook for 3-5 minutes
5.Put carrots and potatoes. Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes until they are tender.
6.Put the red bell pepper. Cover and cook for 3-5 minutes
7.Add salt and pepper to taste
8.Turn off the heat and place it on the serving plate.
