Now that you have a little background on the World Poker Tour, you're ready to step into this bit of news which is very exciting and brings us back to Theta.

You knew it would just be a matter of time before you started to see Theta Network moving into more active positions.  With back from big technology names as validators, also including some of the more recent updates with Guardian and Edge node requirements, one might expect a continued growth trajectory.

So what does all of this mean for the network?  In this author's opinion, we are at the beginning of the the big ride.  Not sure if you have noticed over the last year how the price action of Theta has made moves, but doesn't appear to be as erratic as some of the other digital assets that are out there?

It has been quite an event to observe how there has been consistent and steady movement up to the current price levels that we see today around $2 at time of writing.

Now price doesn't dictate everything but it is a helpful data point.  When you combine this with recent news points of;

• Theta Mainnet 2.0 roll out

• Reduced staking requirements from 10,000 to 1,000

• Large validators

• Expected Tfuel staking

then you begin to this picture of a broad suite of activity that points forward, up, bigger, more engagement and any other number of descriptors.  It's hard not being excited about what potentially is coming our way.
